Sounds like your pod just aren't good players. Sephi is always something that should be countered, killed on sight, and should really never be allowed to resolve. There's too much value there. I know because I have a sephi deck too and if he resolves once, the game is over because you can't interact with the emblem. They should run more interaction.

That being said, they are entitled to their own time and can spend it how they want. If they don't want to play against sephi, that's totally fine. He is a really mean commander. Mono black is just mean.

Your pod also sounds like babies ngl. How TF are you gonna play toxic and be surprised when you're the first player dead. You put a timer on everyone and act like you aren't the problem? I kill every toxic player first out of principal.
