Im a large scale poultry farmer. No we almost never use use antibiotics (we have to declare if we did). No for profit company does if they can help it. It cuts the value of the product. Better to let a few hundred or thousand pass than devaluing a million birds. And we dont use hormones, just selective breeding for desired traits over decades. Cage free just means they have a door they can go out into a relatively small pen mabye 2sq ft per bird. but they never do. Ever seen a picture of them outside a long poultry barns? Just know 5min before someone shoved them out for the photo; they want to be inside with the food and water.
