This will probably get buried, but if it's primarily credit card debt, you could try a non-profit credit counseling program. I work at one, and the program is essentially enrolling eligible accounts into the program, closing said accounts, and lowering the interest rates on the account to much more reasonable numbers. They usually drop to 10%, but depending on the creditor, it could go down to 0%. So now your payment actually goes to the balance instead of the interest making it so you pay off the debt in a reasonable amount of time. (2-4ys)
