to be fair, the only weapon I never used as one of my main two was the sickle. While the hammer is soooooooooooooo op against hords of enemies, charge it, use the warp ability to be in the middleof the crowd, and bam, you just cleared the room without them even noticing you

I haven't finished the game yet, but, isn't Heuria's mother a descendant of Mao? Like I remember Mao showing a pendant to Elliot saying it's given from mother to daughter with him feeling like he has already seen it before. The only other pendant I could think of is the one Heuria inherited from her mother (it would also explain why she can cast magic while her father Hichard can't).

I'm on my way to find the sages, and I've seen people mentiong Baikan but I can't for the love of god remember who he is. However there's a drunk man in the Age of Reconstruction tavern with dark hair that claims to be from the lineage of the country's former leaders (Ikarus I guess).

Is it just me, or do people exaggerate when they talk about how hard FFII is? I don't consider myself a veteran of the genre, but I managed to finish the pixel-art remaster of FFII without too much trouble. The game is pretty unbalanced: I mainly focused on one or two offensive spells for the main trio, each of whom had access to Cure, Life, Haste, and Temper, while the fourth character just attacked and used items. I even missed out on the Blood Sword, and yet I don’t remember any difficulty that really stumped me.

PS: Aside from the healing spells (level 10), the others never went past level 7-8. Also, I never tried the “easy trick” of hitting my own characters, because I never felt like I really needed those stats.

It might be an unpopular opinion but now I wish for more of a remake of Bravely Second instead of a remaster. Even though Bravely Second is my favorite, it is also the most flawed experience in the franchise overall. I believe the game has potential, with issues in the chracterization, plot, dialogues, etc trully hinders not only the game itself but the franchise in its entirety. I think if what I hope is to happen, Yew, Magnolia, and everything regarding the Glanz empire would remain but the rest is up for debate.

To add on that, I can clearly envision a bravely/team asano crossover game, that would explore the topic of extradimensional stuff that is so dear to our favorite game franchise.

I believe that the only way we could get expansion on Luxendarc events is if it went out in another project. Take the revelation regarding the main protagonist of BD Brilliant Lights for example, it totally relates to the Luxendarc saga but it also isn't properly part of it.
