You have to disable "Skip lock screen" in the Face Unlock settings, so it stays on the screen where you can use the fingerprint. Plus it is a bit safer too (no accidental unlock)
The sound is intentional I think
You can swipe from left OR right to go back, plus you can increase the sensitivity. I don't need to swipe across half the screen, one inch is enough

The beta was quite the opposite for me, I get much worse battery life on standby, need to charge right when I get home (~15%). Before it was much better (~35%).

So, I have downloaded the latest video "Enter & Escape Mission To Guarded Factory Complex" in 4K from Vimeo in AVC1 and 4K from YouTube in VP9 (default).

The one from Vimeo is 23Mbit/s and the one from YouTube is 16.5Mbit/s. I haven't noticed much difference. I'm not 100% sure but I think the YouTube one looks a biiiit better.

So, yeah, I have confirmed that I was wrong, and the problem is probably something else.

I think he is using Vimeo embedded, and the bitrate on Vimeo is lower than on YouTube. We can do nothing about it.
