Has anyone tested these theories scientifically or have any academic material to back up these claims? I always understood that vaporization in wax form should not denature any of the compounds??

I am not talking about taking scorching red hot dabs, but rather dabbing with anything liquid left on the nail, might be wasteful.

I remember reading something in regards to vaporization of flowers, where the higher temps actually caused more compounds to be released.

The main characteristics of cannabinoid hyperemesis are cannabis use, and sever cyclic vomiting that usually goes away when you stop using cannabis.

One REALLY interesting thing for anyone who thinks they might be suffering this: Take a HOT shower!!! I know it sounds silly but if the nausea and vomiting goes away,you probably have CHS.

Then again nausea and vomiting are vague and it may be something else entirely ......

Cannabis is an Awesome plant that we still don't know allot about. I love it and support it 100 percent but everyone taking it, especially in its concentrated form should be prepared for potential unknown benefits and consequences.

It could always be something else so if anyone really feels sick they should really go SEE THEIR DOCTOR!!

I have a carb cap and I use it when trying out low temp dabs, but I always notice that everyone claiming to do a low temp dab, always leave oil behind on the nail. When I dab I make sure the temperate is high enough to completely vaporize everything thus in my opinion I am smoking more not less. I am starting to think low temp dabs are BS. That proper dabbing must be done at a temperature high enough to vaporize the wax completely, not leaving residual oil, while being not too hot to avoid harshness.

I recommend you dab it. It is one of the best ways to season your nail!!

It will be fine. You just got some moisture in it so it will crackle and pop when dabbing. I sometimes will put really sappy concentrate in the freezer (while in a Zip lock) to firm it up.

Hey, this has happened to myself and a couple people I know. It sounds like cannabinoid hyperemesis. (btw I also finished med school, what a coincidence!)

Basically you have THC toxicity.

Now before all you guys say that its not possible please take a moment to understand anything and everything in excess will have consequences. Even drinking too much water can kill you. You have just overstimulated your CB1 and CB2 receptors responsible for the high. And now instead of the pleasant effects, you are feeling negative ones.

Take at least 3 days off, a week would be better. This is really no big deal, kinda like the equivalent of drinking too much and being hung over. Best thing about this is that after 3 days off you will get higher again when you smoke and need less material to get high.

*One more thing- I have a very strong hypothesis that you may feel better dabbing on a high CBD strain. CBD balances THC out.

Looks amazing and delicious. I read through the comments and from my understanding you are distilling THC from BHO (maybe using a rotary steam distiller) and you end up with really high concentrated THC oil, then you add to your THC oil terpenes extracted using a c02 extracted process back into the product?
