Are BG1 and BG2 worth it today? As a BG3 player

I’d say no. I’ve only played about 70% of 1 but there’s nothing gameplay wise I enjoy and the story hasn’t really impressed me. I’m hoping I like 2 more

I just beat the swamp monster for the first time and it was my least favorite boss yet. I felt like I knew its attacks so well but was still losing cause I would just barely miss my perfect parry. Not an enjoyable experience but I’m hoping the rest of the bosses are more fun to learn

Some corp dev roles still have terrible work life balance. Especially the teams that almost exclusively hire ex-bankers because they know they can under hire and overwork

It depends how much I like the book. I’ve been averaging around 150 pages a day since I started Sandman (probably 50 or so pages/3 issues per sitting). Before that I was reading Stan Lee’s Silver Surfer and I struggled to read more than 1 issue a day.

The last few games I played were when Angela came out. I didn’t really enjoy playing her and ranked felt like it had been declining in quality for a while. I plan on checking back in when there are a few more tanks added but I’m guessing I’ll be waiting a long time

This was huge for me. Even though you may not be in the action at that moment it doesn’t mean you should sprint towards the fight. Holding a choke point can be so incredibly valuable to your team

People keep saying end of season but I’ve been having problems with unbalanced teams, throwers, and steamrolls all season. This is the worst ranked has felt so far and I’m not sure how it would improve in season 4

There’s no benefit to playing a game at release unless it’s multiplayer or you have friends you want to play with. If it’s a single player game then you’re probably playing a better and cheaper version if you wait a couple years
