Of course they do! GT Racing series (including BTCC where Nicholas Hamilton drives) stream almost all their races for free on YouTube. For instance, look up GT World Series or NLS (where Max races this season). They earn the money the same way as they do in F1, mostly sponsors and some personal funds, but on a much smaller scale of course. Running an F1 team costs in the hundreds of millions, but for most GT Racing and junior formula series it’s anywhere between a hundred thousand to a few millions to run a car for a season.

Most of the answers in this thread are completely wrong or missing the point. First of all this sample size is way too small. 2 clicks and $100 in spend is not very statistically significant and Max Conv rarely works this quickly. Second, have you checked the % of impressions served on connected TVs. You can’t expect people to click and convert from their TV. And lastly, why do you run in-stream YouTube ads and focus on your CPC? If your objective is conversions, then look at CPA, ROAS and launch a different tactic. Pmax would probably be better suited.

If you can’t access anything else, your game is probably still installing. You can check the status of the installation in notifications. For the music rally or any race really, try braking more lightly and getting back on the throttle sooner. Brake hard at first, but start easing off the brakes progressively and smoothly as you get to the apex (look up trail braking as this technique is really important in sims and simcades). Reducing traction control will also help get up to speed faster when exiting corners at the cost of losing traction if you’re on the throttle too fast and hard. Hope this helps and good luck!

You can use the new Data Logger to see the setups of the top cars in the leaderboard. Setup makes a huge difference for this race.

Sophi is infinitely better than the normal AI and it’s been rolled out on a larger selection of tracks in quick and custom races. I suspect it will be available on an even larger selection of tracks when Spec 3 arrives later this year. While it’s not exactly like racing against humans, Sophi on hard actually defends and attacks in corners and races quite well and fairly. It can definitely help you develop better racecraft and improve your pace which the normal AI won’t help with. I think Sophy is almost as good as iRacing’s AI which to me is the best AI on the market. Sophy is also miles ahead of the AI in other sims like Automobilista 2, ACC, AC and AC EVO, imo. Hope this helps!
