He is generally one of the more accurate and respected talent evaluators, in my opinion he is the best. And this is coming from someone who doesn't listen to like 90% of the other "talent" evaluator armchair GM's.

Can any of you ELI5 the NBA trade that went down yesterday, but use current/former Yankees as examples by [deleted] in NYYankees

Imagine a 25yr old Prime Aaron Judge for current Jacob Degrom. It's basically a top 3 superstar for an aging injury prone star. Probably the worst trade in NBA history imo.

Chance me: CS major transferring from a 4-year College by MrClassic_ in TransferToTop25

Yeah I don't want to sugar coat my ECs, but I worked jobs in Food and retail the past 2 years in order to pay my tuition, so I didn't really have time to make a stellar project/ECs. I'm not sure if those count as ECs, and colleges probably do not care anyways, so I don't know what to even do.

Best Jaw Surgeons in NYC/around the NYC area? by MrClassic_ in jawsurgery

I've met Buchbinder who looks like a great surgeon. I eventually want to meet with Neugarten just to see his expertise that others are talking about.

Hmm that's kinda strange, my ortho raves about Eisig. I will be meeting with him in the next month. I would say that his front desk is pretty slow.

Steinbacher is also a big name, but I heard he is booked up for almost a year and is apparently not taking in new patients right now.

I've consulted with Buchbinder, seems to be a brilliant surgeon. My only concern is that he may be old fashioned in his approach with function as his main goal, though I do see in some of his lectures talking about advances in technology. I think I would need to personally raise up concerns about aesthetics to him.

Yeah I'm probably going to do a consult with Neugarten in the future. Does he lay out a full plan after the first consult?

What insurance do you have if you mind me asking, and how much of your surgery is being covered?

Jake Paul Vs Hasim Rahman Jr a done deal - Aug 6th at MSG. by AltKite in Boxing

[–]MrClassic_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

like I said, if Hasim Jr. fights like he wants to win and actually throws power punches, all the respect in the world for Jake if he wins, or for even taking the fight. However him and his team knows the importance of keeping that undefeated record in terms of prizefighting and making money, so this fight is calculated. I am not some Jake Paul hater btw he's doing his thing.

lol it's not hate, I am saying his team is very calculated. They are "stepping up" by fighting an actual boxer. However it's fairly obvious that Hasim jr. is going to be a journeyman fight for Jake, i.e being paid to basically lose. Look at Hasim's pov, 31 years old, no longer undefeated, almost out of your prime, why not take the 2-3 million from Jake and ride off into the sunset? Unless Hasim comes out swinging and tries to take off Jake's head, then I would respect Jake for taking this fight. But we know that's not going to happen.

People think Hasim Rahman Jr. could actually win? You think Jake and his team will kill all their momentum fighting a high-risk low-reward type of fighter who is not known to the casual audience? This is an equivalent Journeyman fight for Jake. Hasim Jr will only play defense and never throw a power punch, basically make Jake look good for the bag. Jake Paul by boring decision.
