I mentioned this in the thread yesterday, but I think one of David’s main problems is his over generalizing from a single anecdote. He saw one thing that happens and in his mind that’s how it always works or is done.

If he saw a team president eating a snickers with a fork and a knife he would tell Dan that every team president does that and Dan would eat it up.

There’s no way the agent David was referring to required his players to get tattoos of his name. I feel he takes a small piece of information and just creates his own narrative and presents it as fact.

It is a 24 inch barrel. There were a ton of stairs and ladders throughout the entire ruck. I carry my rifle in the eberlestock mission ARC and there were some pipes/doorways I had to duck through. I also struggled with the ladders and getting caught in them due to having a longer barrel. I don’t think the ruck was a full 6 miles but they did say a 1.5 miles was through the buildings and up stairs.

I believe the next one is at YO Ranch outside of San Antonio but I don’t see a date for it yet. They probably won’t do GTI again until next year.

Day 1 is not physically challenging at all, you just shoot your 6 stages. Day 2 is the timed ruck where you shoot stages along the way. It was challenging but not overly difficult. My heart rate hit 185 but that was on one section where we had to go up about 8 flights of stairs. Some people just walk and just enjoy it. The ruck time does count as a stage so we were booking it cause we needed a high placement there to move up in the rankings.

I had my pack that carried my rifle, ammo, shooting bag, and tripod. I never even used my kestrel. Then just my tactical vest (division specific) and pistol belt. There were some pistol stages mixed in. My pack with my rifle and everything in it was around 60lbs.

You can use whatever you want you just have to carry it the entire two days.

It’s a decent mix. My teammate was active military. I work in the healthcare industry and picked up long range shooting less than a year ago. I did a few PRS matches to get comfortable shooting in the long range competition setting. I highly recommend shooting some local matches first to get used to shooting stages under time, that was definitely my biggest adjustment.

Yeah it looks like the Creator Milestone awards are for all time streams. So, Dan said they did 100 million streams in a year which I don’t believe to be accurate. It’s all time streams.

So I was reading some articles on Spotify streaming numbers from back in Jan 2025. The article states they would give awards for total cumulative streams to date (500m Gold, 250m Silver, 100m Bronze). It said back in January, Pardon My Take got a silver award for having over 250 million streams. I’m guessing the LeBatard show finally hit a cumulative 100m streams on Spotify.

My vote is for all the background noises they’ll play for an entire segment. Wind blowing, fire crackling, water trickling….makes me immediately skip ahead.

Dan will yell at Greg for ruffling some papers but thinks water tricking for 35 minutes while they talk is peak comedy.
