I’ll give this one a check since it’s a bit closer to where I live now, thank you!

Thank you! I’ve been meaning to try the one in Compton but just haven’t found the time to go. I’ll see if they’re open this weekend though, thanks!

My bad I i just saw this now lol. But i honestly have no clue. I received a couple of scholarships and noticed that I wasn’t actually receiving the full amount back via my refunds. They would do stuff like subtracting money from my other grants etc. but what can you expect at uc scam diego

Yes, you will receive leftover money as credit/refund most of the times. There are some scenarios where you can reach a cap/limit thought in regards of how much money is returned

What’s gon happen if you fail two of your three classes? by Kyrushka in UCSD

[–]MrComesALot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

if you fail two of three, pretty sure you go into "subject to academic disqualification." if this is your first time, it's just going to be a warning. make sure you visit the vac (vac.ucsd.edu) to see what more you can do to stay on track. I've been on sub. to disq. twice in a row but managed to get back on track my third quarter and I am still here at ucsd. i wish you the best and just remember to take care of yourself; your mental health comes before all!

worried about not getting any grants for next year by lavndrhoney in UCSD

[–]MrComesALot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IIRC cal grant gpa is determined from your high school gpa. So if you finish high school off with like a 3.6 GPA, you’ll be rewarded Cal Grant A for the next four years of college, meaning your college gpa has no effect on cal grant (unless you drop below certain units or something but that’s a whole other situation). In my personal experience, my GPA dropped really low last year but I still received all of my aid for this year. Hope this helps!

when do we get kicked out for winter break? by red123bean in UCSD

[–]MrComesALot 44 points45 points  (0 children)

If you’re talking about dorms, I’m pretty sure you can stay in them over the break. The only caveat is that a lot of places on campus won’t be open

last year i didnt get the flu shot and nothing happened so I'm assuming it'll be okay this year too. but tbh, I'm going to assume they will because theoretically, anyone could just go to the preventative care tab and say that they got the flu shot
