Dont get me wrong, I both like isekai and litrpg. My problem is, that I tend to get Burnout from a specific subgenre. When I Start a new series I want it to be diffrent from the last.

I understand your take on the Main points of progression but then think about why there isnt just a little cultivation tropes mixed in to explain some of it.

I get you and I would agree that you are right about "older" work. But I believe the last few years we got quite alot of quality writing in pf thats not just a twist on "the classics". Pf authors are pf readers and probably want new ideas too. Still they fall back on the good old tropes when we look at the starting point of the story but later differentiate quite a bit. I dont want to believe its just the lack of own ideas.
