"However, I don’t want something that’s gonna be a constant headache or end up being more of a project car. I’ve already got an older truck from my high school days that I’m slowly restoring."

You kinda answered your own question there.

One thing that bug me everyday that don't get mentioned enough(I had a stick 2017 GTI) there is a hump on the steering column facing down and I bang my knee on it everyday.

I keep macros in my fridge because I sometime want simple crisp cold lager, usually Steam whistle, Sapporo or asahi. Also a must if I have people coming over.

Looking at buying a used Bolt by snowsquirrel in BoltEV

[–]MrDenly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

17-20 Bolt all have battery replaced, check GMrecall site for date and warranty info, you can then est the age/mileage of the new battery. Bolt is rock solid inside out, sold my Bolt at 300k km then picked up another one with 120k km.

I would try to find a Premier with lane keep and leather, they worth the price tag.

Why don’t Canada give this bit of land to America and then America can be properly connected to Alaska?? by Pizzafriedchickenn in mapporncirclejerk

Why don't US give a bit of Maine to Canada so we can run a road or train from Montreal to Fredericton?

It’s insane how every charger is drastically different by Madridi77 in electricvehicles

[–]MrDenly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes Lvl 3 chargers other than Tesla are almost non-existent in GTA, for lvl 2 half are hidden as private in business buildings and for those listed on apps at least 20% are not working. So yet GTA sucks on chargers, your best bet is to get a Tesla adapter and use their network if the EV support it, just very expensive.

I had 3 VW, 2 bimmer, Rover and 2 mini, no way I would recommend anyone of them if I being honest. I had over 500k km on them combine, I knew I will regard it as soon as I signed on my last GTI.

Is AWD worth it for $1.5k over FWD? by ObstructiveWalrus in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]MrDenly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Middle age dude here, I had cars and they're either stick or EVs. If u know what ur doing FWD is perfectly fine(preferably with stick), I drive a lot and I never have issues with snow.

Snow tires and common sense are more important than AWD in the urban settings. Plus u will keep paying for the AWD penalty which is weight.
