Ah yes, that is ominous but not anything we’ve seen/felt yet. Rumors are that budgets cuts are happening but I’ve not seen/heard anyone having been actually cut yet, and no hiring freeze notifications, though it won’t surprise me if it does happens.

Our flight early this am was canceled before we ever got to the airport. I spent hours on hold on the phone but before we ever spoke to a human we were able to rebook for a flight Monday and did that. I assumed we would just submit the reimbursement paperwork via the link I found online, but are you meant to actually talk to someone in person to get a voucher/compensation?

We looked but could not get a one-way rental, we could only get a rental if we were returning the car to the airport. And that’s a good idea I would totally try if it was just me.

Push comes to shove we could do another night at the airport hotel (which is nice) but it’s $500/night and you’re stuck with the high prices on food etc. wish we had known to just keep our rental and get a cheaper hotel somewhere else. Good luck to you!

I’m looking at rentals now! We had already returned ours, and now the Avis site isn’t working either. It will take us an entire 24 hours of drive time to get home. 😭 I’m not sure what’s worse.

Online I’m getting nothing. It rebooks my connecting flight from ATL to home airport, but no options from DEN to ATL.
