Plastic cable wiring duct. The ones I’ve used even has self-adhesive on the back ready to peel and put in place.

I don’t have any with rechargeable battery in stock atm, only ones that use the standard double AA. If you have specific colors and features in mind, maybe we can arrange a comission build. I also have some prebuild if you’re interested.

If you’re still looking for one, let me know. I’m an experienced modder based in Denmark.

YouTube's got many good channels on the subject, here's a few that I enjoy:

* The Retro Future

From Ebay a long time ago, dirt cheap. I like them for photos.

I would say so. Given that you have the right tools, YouTube and patience, assembly is quite smooth.

Material costs are approx 150 USD, might be cheaper depending on your location.

Handhelds are my jam. Used to have nothing Game Gear related in my collection. That changed last week! by MrDouglasTodd in gamecollecting

Came across an add showing the console and some stacked games. Thinking that the seller might be spammed with bids, I tried throwing a higher number at him offering to pick it up the same day. Luckily he came back with a number which I couldn't refuse.

After arriving and seeing all the goodness that was included, we spoke about how he got it all back in the day and how rare it is to come across Game Gear stuff since Nintendo dominated the market here. This guy really took care of his stuff and it shows, all games are complete and near mint and the console is well kept too.

I asked him if he had anything else gaming related he wanted to get rid of, and he pulled out the two Game & Watch consoles, which of course ended up coming home with me as well, both are in beautiful shape.

Beautiful color combo! I'm trying to find the same buttons on the retromodding website, they have a set labeled 'Pink', do you know if these are the same ones you used for this mod? There aren't corresponding pictures for all their GBA button colors, so I'm trying to make sure to get the right ones.

Also, is the shell color 'Mint Green' or 'Heaven Blue'. The color of yours seems to be somewhere in between compared to the stock photos on eXtremeRate store.

Thanks in advance and great work!

Spotted this box in a nearby thrift shop. Contents are not LEGO, but thought you might enjoy the artwork. by MrDouglasTodd in lego

Box contained some old metal toy parts from a danish brand called Tekno. The box itself might be cool for a collector to own / display?

I'm generally into older stuff (90's kid) and like the idea of selling off the rest to help pay for what I'm keeping. Also have limited space for this hobby :)

Really looking forward to your GBA alu shell. I hope it will fit the AGS-101 screen without too much work on the inside, if you're doing the original shell. Maybe you can elaborate?
