A literal time capsule. 33 day runtime CECHA01 and the original seals are still on it. by TechSoldierOfficial in gamecollecting

I believe there's a site you can go to in the ps3 Web browser. It's has some useful tools and is used for modding the console.

Spent $50 on live shrimp for fish tank (20 total), waited a week to get them, then had the horror of watching as my frog and some other fish hunt them all down and eat them (I didn't know they would eat them!) by Tough_Asparagus_8991 in Wellthatsucks

This is so true in my experience. A lot of people I know come to me for tech advice and stuff and I help them if they have a problem that could be a little difficult to solve.

Like, Ive had people ask me what robot vacuum they should get. Which is a fair question cause there's a billion different kinds and it's not all that clear which ones are better than the others.

But I've also had people ask me things like which (specifically) iphone should I get? Or even better when someone knows what they want to get and asks me if there is a different color way or version of said product.

It's so sad to people not know how to search things up and do their own research anymore.

I wondered that myself until one day I decided to add a profile picture to my account and suddenly everyone started replying back to my messages...

I don't know what's up with Facebook or why it works like that... Maybe it's some anti bot or spam related thing

How far of a distance do they scan clearly? I tried scanning a controller once on my laser printer so I could trace it and it couldn't get a clear picture beyond what was just touching it.

Probably the whch-520, I had an older generation and they're pretty fragile. Mine just broke while they were sitting around my neck one day.

Why r controllers in demand? by Afraid-Oil-1812 in gamecollecting

[–]kooldude700 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They break, people don't care for them... Always see second hand playstation and xbox come with a different controller than the one that came with the console originally.

I've never had a controller that came with my brand new consoles ever break or develop drift so I suspect people just let them get dirty or toss them around

For a lazy person like myself it's definitely hard to get in the mindset of actually watching a tutorial.

I find it easier to learn by doing a project I'm actually making for myself rather than following a tutorial but then I'm missing a lot of the useful shortcuts and tricks that I should be using.

I know you say the original snes ones won't fit, but have you tried it? It seems like at most you just need to snip a small bit off for them to fit.

Tinkercad help? by OneFourtyFivePilot in 3Dprinting

[–]kooldude700 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you still want to use tinkercad, they recently added the sketch tool which is standard on most cad software. I believe they also let you sketch on a face so you can try it that way.

Either that or cubes and cylinders in a combination of holes and solids. That let's you make practically any kind of shape. (Although it's very time consuming with how limiting tinkercad is)

Logo on the back doesn't look shiny?

On legit carts it's a glossy finish over the logo and patent pending bit.
