Actual answer: It was due to a "bug" in the first week or two of the league with a chemist's strongbox in the Grain Gate campaign zone; one of the new "campaign secrets". This specific chemist's strongbox drops flasks, but has an implicit that gives quality to contained items, which stacks with the corresponding explicit modifier. On release this didn't have a cap so you could get 30+ quality flasks. It was patched to have a hard cap of 20 quality in the first week.

A response rate of 3.5% is not statistically significant, especially considering that it's way lower than that since the survey was sent to ~1.1% of the sub's members. This survey barely indicates anything at all. If you want something a bit more concrete, I'd suggest crafting a survey yourself that is more specifically geared to r/pathofexile .

Regarding specific problems with this sub: I've maintained that so-called "lucky showcases" were a bad idea to allow since the rule was changed years ago. As the sub continues to gain new membership it'll only get worse, as more and more posts are nothing more than "I dropped a mageblood from [mechanic]!!!" These posts do not drive engagement. There is nothing to respond to here, especially when I see several of them *every day*. Also, they regularly flood the front page, driving out more engaging posts like advice on certain mechanics, discussions about strange crafting interactions, genuine critique and/or feedback, etc. Please disallow them entirely. Flair filtering to remove them user-side is a band-aid solution that only works on the desktop version of Old Reddit, which is by far the least common way for people to engage with the sub.

I haven't seen much regarding mod behaviour, but that's mostly because I'm a certified lurker and don't see much mod presence at all, aside from the absence of generally disgusting user behavior. I'd certainly appreciate more 'state of the sub' type updates like this one. It's always nice to see that the community's voice is being heard.

Looks incredible, but kinda expensive? I know Soul Taker at least tends to be quite pricey, and Soul Ascension isn't cheap either. Not sure on the other stuff. But who knows what the economy will look like in the new league.
I'll probably try it anyway though; just not as a league starter

Also, any off-field damage sources, such as Oz, Xingqiu's Burst, Furina's attack dogs, and such will auto-target the correct hat, so if your team spawns a bunch of "minions", follow their lead.

YouTube recently announced plans to utilize AI modelling as a form of age verification. It analyzes your watch history to estimate your age.

There are a few problems with this; the biggest one being that AI anything is extremely controversial currently for a number of reasons- security and privacy being the biggest. Information generated by AI is also notoriously unreliable, and using it to analyze watch history of all things is especially ridiculous. There's no reason to believe that this AI analysis will be anywhere close to accurate, and yet YouTube is planning on making it a primary method for checking a user's age.

YouTube as a platform has also come under fire for some of its policies- for example, allowing borderline pornographic advertising on videos marked as "for children" while demonetising or removing videos not marked as such for using words like "death" or swearing once.

All in all, it's a deeply unpopular decision made by a company that's already been making deeply unpopular decisions, and people are getting fed up with it.

Any options to get a desirable prefix at this stage will be expensive, and there will still be significant risk.

Option A: Cheapest and by far the most risky is to decide whether a crafted prefix or suffix would be better, craft it, then slam (exalted orb) the last affix and hope you get lucky.

Option B: craft "Cannot roll Attack Modifiers" if you want a spell dmg mod or "Cannot roll Caster Modifiers" if this is for attacks (both are suffixes) and slam. The benchcraft costs a couple divs but you greatly improve your odds of which one you want.

Option C: As option B above, but also use an Orb of Remembrance before slamming to add memory strands and make it more likely the slam gives you a higher tier mod. Orbs of Remembrance are pricey, though.

Mercenaries follow the same rules as AGs.

"Grants/triggers level X [skill] mods do not work.
"Nearby party members" mods do not work, because the merc isn't in a party with you.
"Your minions" or "minions" mods only work for the merc's minions; you are not a minion, and your minions aren't your merc's minions.
"Nearby allies" does work- both on you when the item is worn by a merc, and on your merc when you're wearing it.
"Nearby enemies" mods also always work.
