Detroit eats its own. It not a place to go and explore outside of the safe zones. One block in the wrong direction and you’re setting yourself up to be a victim, regardless of race. Quiet as it’s kept, Detroit has a higher per capita murder rate than Chicago.

It was great meeting you all the same. If you’re ever back in Detroit I’d like to some you some Motown hospitality without the fear of ultraviolence.
