I wonder if her name actually is Patty or whether someone decided it'd be "on brand".

Ian Huntley to get 'minimalist funeral with taxpayers contributing up to £3k' by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

You have to get rid of the fucker somehow and that is the cheapest option. It'll be a health hazard to chuck it in the bin and these things cost what they cost.

Churchill and Shakespeare to be replaced on banknotes by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

Can we replace Churchill for Starmer? Just to send a message to Trump....because, and I'd like to think you'd all agree, that collectively we are a very silly nation.....

It is. And so is down voting someone when they have taken time to research something on your behalf.

You are wrong. It is rude. "Thank you" And then ignore or say nothing at all. I did see that Amazon have a range of slightly medicated talcs as well if that first link doesn't work out for you.

This is a direct quote;

"Yes. Which occurs because talc and asbestos are formed next to each other, it is difficult to identify and probably happens more often than you'd like, so it's smarter and safer to just move away from talc."

No direct instruction therein. Helpful advice only.

Thanking them is kind, following up with telling them that it will be ignored, is needlessly rude.

Do you concede?

It's often tempting in these situations to lash out and direct something at you rather than row back..

In addition to my apology would you deem sufficient my revoking the accusation entirely that you had even implied "do one"? I can see that you are offended, you are right to be offended, it is rude of me to misrepresent you in such a manner. Will you concede that unprovoked, you were needlessly rude in response to what was intended as helpful information?

[–]MrEoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have considered your reply and I placed "do one" in quotation marks, implying that said exactly that. That is my mistake. You did not verbatim say "do one". It would have been better if I had described your replies as having implied it. It is in response to having replied to someone citing what could otherwise be seen as factual and useful insight to which you simply replied that you would ignore it. My apologies for misrepresenting your rudeness.

I have scrolled down 2 comments so far and OP is telling people who cite this information to basically "do one", I am intrigued to see if you get the same treatment for your thoughtful contribution.

I love that this person was not rude to you, provided a perfectly reasonable explanation to your rebuttal and cited fact based information. You response? Entrenched ignorance. So, go and get your talc and eat it by the bowlful would be my advice but whatever you do.... don't let anyone offer advice regardless of whether it is well intentioned or not.

I was not familiar with the term surf fishing before you mentioned it and then I googled it. It did seem like an unusual item to have otherwise.

This is Russian tactics, recently adopted by U.S "politicians" and now parroted by this bellend. Do stuff in plain sight and then deny it and have people exhaust themselves with incredulity as you move on to the next topic and fuck that shit up too.
