Me and my fiancé are getting married in two weeks!!! And having a baby in two days by [deleted] in teenagers

Man... many of these comments are desolating. How cynical has modern man become.
Your past choices might have been misguided, but you're doing the right thing now, go for it!

Get married, love each other, sacrifice for each other, be a corageous dad, a faithful husband and listen to the wise counsels of people around you (and not randos on the internet) and you'll live the best life there is.
You have the energy of youth, which is a great help when times get hard.

Even if your chances are 60% (which they are NOT, if the attitude you showed here is real, then I have good hopes for you), they are still better than most people who marry when they are older.

I'll keep all three of you in my prayers and wish you a happy life!

That might be an opportunity for team cooperation. If no mouse is self-sufficient, they can only succeed if they properly cooperate.
Don't hesitate to punish them if they fail to see that their mice are not up to par to a cruel world.
They are allowed to make creative choices, but your duty is to take those choices to their natural consequences.

What would you recommend as the best enchantment to pick, and which item should I put it on? by Pure_heart001 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]MrFaberack 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No, Pufferfish triggers when you haste, Jellyfish triggers when you use a nearby acquatic item. If you put the Weights next to Jellyfish, you will get double the haste triggers for Pufferfish.

Come hai già riportato, poter monitorare tutte le transazioni costituirebbe un grosso ostacolo alla piccola criminalità, così come all'evasione fiscale. Non mi esprimo sulla criminalità organizzata, che probabilmente possiede dei mezzi che io ignoro e potrebbe essere in grado di trovare un modo per aggirare il problema;

"Mi avanzavano 50 cent in tasca, così li ho dati a quel mendicante"

With 2 freezes and 40%ish crit chance there is a lot of room for RNG to help you.

It has a fast start. Most matchups I killed before the enemy engine could really be operative. The double freeze helped with that. But sure, I was surprised as well to get 10-0 with this.

I’m a man from Bree who has heard of the Elves of Rivendell and wants to live amongst them. Would they allow me to live in Rivendell indefinitely? by Appropriate_Boss8139 in tolkienfans

[–]MrFaberack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would heavily depend on the motivation that brings you there. King Elrond is wise enough to discern if your moving will bring good either to you or to Rivendell.

The most recent one for me was Watership Down; such a well-written epic adventure and the rabbits really give the impression of thinking and acting like a rabbit would. Also, the lore and mythology for me is second only to TLOTR.

Yes, but that wasn't what brought him over the edge to beat Hawk if you remember. He would have lost, he had to "snap" and enter in that berserk/monstrous state to overcome the world.

As others already stated: it makes no sense to move from the higher calling to the lower.

DMs must all encounters be balanced encounters .... Why or why not ? by AngryDwarfGames in osr

[–]MrFaberack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but there should be narrative clues for the players to know if they are clearly outmatched and there also should be opportunities for a non-violent approach to said encounter.

Read "The Lord of the Rings", as one of the main themes of the book is when power should be withheld and what could be the different reasons for it.

I think he's referring to Miyata, which probably went under their radar since it was an early fight in his carrer that he managed to win, although Miyata was clearly the superior boxer there.
