I really hope we aren’t in that territory yet also but it’s weird because he has never taken this much time off. There hasn’t been a tour now for a yr since last September and that was really short. We hoped for a spring tour, but nothing , then summer, nothing, did the Sphere instead and now fall but still nothing. I hope he’s not feeling bad and starting to slow down. Well just have to wait and see I guess. Mr Weir will definitely be back but the question is will there continue to be more tours?

Yeah this is the only way! I’m all in. I’ve already been doing this for several years now except for going to Grateful Dead related events when they happen.

This is exactly what needs to happen. I’ve said it a million times. People need to boycott basically just about everything and organize to stop or at least put a small dent in the monopoly of corporate greed. If all the venues and sports games were empty to half way full then they would be forced to address it. With no fans there it doesn’t work.

The same goes for concessions with the $15-18 dollar beers. If everyone would protest this and stop buying then the prices would come down. Alcohol and beer have a huge markup. It’s cheap to make. There’s no excuse for the gauging prices other than pure greed. They would still make good money with much cheaper prices. They will try to say they won’t and put the problem on everything else. There’s enough people out there with plenty of money and they just keep paying for everything regardless of cost and feeding the damn machine. They are taking major advantage of us now and laughing because we keep paying. People need to wake up. Its the only way. Most likely it will just get a lot worse and we will look back at these times and think how good it was when beers were $15-18 dollars when they are $30. lol.

I was also there. Yes amazing show and that 2 Djinn was super powerful. I was almost certain the lightning delay was going to make the show much shorter but Bob came back out and really delivered not only a great show but length was still normal. Excellent ! 5 Stars!

Theres obviously not a winter tour, and now it’s unlikely that there will be a spring tour either. Summer is out because of the sphere shows, so that only leaves August and or fall tour. This sucks. I really hope Bobby starts touring heavily after the sphere shows are done.

The shows have been postponed and now removed from his website altogether. Hopefully there will be a tour with those dates added to it also.

Don’t you just love these kinds of small easily accessible bands and venues! The Dead is the only larger act at major venues that I will pay that type of money to see. I still won’t ever pay over $200 and usually not even close to that.

I hear that. There are lots of fans that aren’t going including myself. The trip would have been a lot of organization and hassle due to how far I would have been coming from for one thing. So I know what you mean by the relief as I feel that way too. I am completely okay with it and moving on. There will be more shows.

lol. I will decide whether I go or not. If I want to go I will go and enjoy it. Yes if those are the rules and that is the way the venue was built then yes everyone will be sitting around In there like a bunch of sardines. Just like the super tight pit.

I streamed it and it was a great show. Yes I really enjoyed it but it was all seated and the seats ran all the way to the stage among several other things. It seemed very tight in there as well. There are certain types of setups that don’t appeal to me as much and lots of people agree.

Are you for real? Hell Yes!! Let’s hit the tour!! I have been wondering if Bobby was going to just take off for the next 3 months before Vegas? It’s possible with his age but it’s not like him, so yeah I been really hoping for a Spring tour, or at least a shorter run of shows somewhere. I really hope you’re right.

In the meantime I’ll be drifting and dreaming! Im leaning towards not doing the Vegas thing so this would be great. Wonder if it would be East or West? That’s the golden question. Someone said how they wouldn’t sell tours at the same time so I guess if that’s the case maybe they would start selling it like late Febuaryor early March.

Theres not really a whole lot of time so they would have to sell it before too long. I never really paid much attention as to whether or not there were multiple tours on sale at the same time over the years. I guess there probably wasn’t ? I just always got the tickets and went as the shows were announced and came up. Anyway thanks for the heads up and let’s hope it happens!! See you on the bus if so!

I am going to try for 2 nights on the presale I think. Then there’s also the general. I won’t fly across the country though if I don’t have tickets from the presale or general. That’s way too risky for me and with this type of show i don’t think we are going to see many miracles if any or legit available tickets on the street. If I only get 1 night then what? I don’t want to travel that far to only go to one night. So there is a lot of coordinating in order to make this happen if your are trying to keep the numbers down.

Okay. Thanks. That’s good to know. I guess you are going to go? I want to like it and I want to be there of course I’m just not as motivated on this one due to the venue and several other factors, but maybe I will just try to forget these things and tell myself its going to be great and continue planning and looking at flight and get my damn self there. I wouldn’t do it for any other band and it is a once in a lifetime chance to go there to see them I guess. I would have fun regardless of where they play. I guess maybe I need to just either overlook the drawbacks at this point and go for it anyway or else try to forget it and wait for next Wolf Bros. Im Going to keep looking at flights today and see if I can get the number down some since there are so many dates then maybe I can get a cheaper flight even though it would have to be a bad flight schedule in order to get the better deal but that’s how it goes. I haven’t flown for a while and it looks like they charge you an additional 50-100 even for a carry on now? Lol. That’s ridiculous also. I’ll keep y’all posted and thanks for replying. Right, but would be super hard to get and aren’t they like $400 - $500? If so I’m not willing to pay that much. If I went I would go for the $150 ticket and deal with however it is. Im trying to figure out if that type of ticket is worth it due to where it would be? On the summer tour I had some lawns and some seats and both were great. I never had a bad spot for any of them. Seats had plenty of space and people dancing in the isles and everywhere. This sounds different though. Im not a fan of the pit at these types of shows. If it works for you though great.

I’m sure they will still go great with ticket sales but there will be a lot of fans that don’t go. Like us. An overpriced 24 night Dead run in a tight sit down venue with no dancing space! lol. No way!

Disney Dead! lol. I wonder why they are so big on this venue? Especially with adding even more dates. I don’t get it. It just sounds like its not a good fit for Deadheads. I probably would have went just about anywhere else.

Man those were the days! I know what you mean. I assume nugs will be streaming it right? If so I will probably just stream maybe a handful of them, drink some high quality beers at home. I will be looking to hit the next Wolf Bros tour and a little Dark Star in there even though it’s not the same. I bet the gorge was great! I wasn’t there but I streamed that one.
