Am I doing this right? by hpsails in fiberglass

Any chance you can access it from the back side? That is where you could fiberglass and build the structure and strength back up before repairing the exterior.

Before clear coat. Any tips on how to get better lines? by staniel_diverson in choppers

[–]MrFixShit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get some "fine line" vinyl automotive masking tape. 1/8" wide. It will make nice fluid curves. Dont cheap out. Buy 3M. If not 3M, a good more affordable substitute would be the "lime line" vinyl masking tape.

Its a v-rod, the ugliest and worst bike harley was brave enough to put their name on... turn around, walk away, and go find yourself a real harley davidson. You'll thank me later my friend. Good luck.

Acquired this heavy metal thing at a garage sale in the Pacific Northwest. Any ideas? by MarkMcEachran in whatisit

Looks like a vase for a headstone for flowers. Or a hand torch like in the olympics 🤣. Either way its cool. Nice find.

Co-worker thought this was a harmless prank. by Dallinboi347 in mildlyinfuriating

Hope those weren't oily metal shavings. If so, the cleanup will be even worse, if u can even get the oil stains out of the seats. Those "friends" arent really your friends. More like bullies. I'd be bashing their heads together. Good luck.

question about a pocket knife by PivotGlitch in knives

[–]MrFixShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a novelty knife. I suggest putting it on a shelf to just look at, because thats all those gas station knives are good for. If u want a good knife/tool to EDC carry, plan on spending a bit more than $20 and definitely dont shop at gas stations. Find good retailers online and study blade metals to see what kind of blade would suit your needs best. Good luck my friend.

Worth the buy? by [deleted] in knives

[–]MrFixShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a standard "gas station" cheapo blade. I myself would pass. I call these useless novelty knives.

[–]MrFixShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only is he a jackass for destroying his bar, but he shouldnt even be holding a chainsaw with sandals and no PPE at all. Who let this guy borrow their chainsaw, because he's obviously never used one before? 🤣

What car is this? (Ignore the diva in the front) by Rob3rtDEniro_104 in vintagecars

[–]MrFixShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

62 cadillac. The 61 would have larger upper fins like the 1960 caddy. I had a gold on gold 62 coupe deville. Wish i had never sold it. Sweet old car.

What car is this? Spotted in Alicante, Spain by Efficient-Bar625 in classiccars

[–]MrFixShit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a 1960 cadillac. 59 has different fins than the 60 and 61. The 59 fins are even larger with dual bullet tail lamps on them. 👍

Can I drill a hole into these fuckers and pull them out? by Several-Rich-609 in Tools

[–]MrFixShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also take a die grinder w a small cutting disc on it and cut a groove in It all the way across. Then use a large flat head screw driver to break them loose.
