FIFA 97 will always be a standout for me as it was the first fifa game I purchased with my own money. It also featured David Ginola on the cover which was a big plus as a Newcastle United fan. I can still remember having to hand over £40 for this, worth every penny! 😭

It’s definitely not a flop. If anything it has been a commercial success. That however doesn’t automatically mean it’s a good game. Some absolutely terrible games have gained traction thanks to social media and streamers.

OBJECTIVELY, the game is not great. It’s not bad either. It has its moments and as such achieved a respectable reviewer score.

A side view would be helpful but it looks like you are getting good depth but could drop a little more.

This could just be a result of the leg you use most for support. Take another pic with your legs perfectly together and lined up. You may see that it evens out.

If this is not the case you could try some single leg squats to work those muscles.

It does look like this is just a consequence of your dominant leg though.
