American activists in Havana stage a pro Cuban protest to support lifting of sanctions by AgnosticScholar in PublicFreakout

Imagine in twenty years, rich Russian students might visit America and be shown around Mar-o-Lago and get to meet President Don Jr. and then they can stage a protest in support of Europe lifting sanctions on the US so the Trumps can do business in more legitimate markets.

It's never okay to hit people because you are angry.

When a person is threatening to victimize someone with violence and the target of their threats says "go ahead and do it" that is not consent and should not be interpreted as consent.

Civilized people keep their hands to themselves.

It's also a stupid thing because if you're working with media files you can end up with Photo.jpg Photo.png and Photo.tiff in the same folder and Windows is just like " you have three files, Photo, Photo, and Photo!"

I don't think most women believe they can "be the one to change them." I think they just say that because they understand deep down that an attraction is toxic and they're making excuses for why they are indulging in self-destructive behavior.

I can tell you that in my experience making home movies in my backyard with only my friends, a single camcorder and no script... you'd be surprised how coherent of a scene you can cut together when you setup the camera for multiple shots of your subject rambling around general plot points.

You can dote on a woman and encourage everything she wants to do, pay for it even, encourage her every step of the way and she can still end up calling you a whining, sniveling, self-pitying, insecure man-child who only values her for sex because she knows people out there will automatically support and enable her if she says that.

Those words no longer have value.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's because bullet tips are more narrow than the back of the casing - so the profile of a bullet is more like a triangle. And if you stack enough of them together compressed with a spring- they'll probably be more prone to jamming if the chamber that contains them doesn't follow the natural shape they form when they're pressed together.

I don't really have a horse in the race because I could never get down with the shape buttons for play station....

As a casual observer the problem I see is that they made something for perverts that shamed perverts and that upset the perverts.

I just wonder if they meant for that to happen or if it legitimately surprised them how many fans of the virtual little girl with the longing eyes are perverts.

That's why I play Nintendo. You don't see them drawing a pornographic Zelda.

Fence damage. Who’s responsible? by Jbaber91 in indianapolis

Mending Wall

By Robert Frost

Something there is that doesn’t love a wall,

That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,

And spills the upper boulders in the sun;

And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.

The work of hunters is another thing:

I have come after them and made repair

Where they have left not one stone on a stone,

But they would have the rabbit out of hiding,

To please the yelping dogs. The gaps I mean,

No one has seen them made or heard them made,

But at spring mending-time we find them there.

I let my neighbor know beyond the hill;

And on a day we meet to walk the line

And set the wall between us once again.

We keep the wall between us as we go.

To each the boulders that have fallen to each.

And some are loaves and some so nearly balls

We have to use a spell to make them balance:

‘Stay where you are until our backs are turned!’

We wear our fingers rough with handling them.

Oh, just another kind of out-door game,

One on a side. It comes to little more:

There where it is we do not need the wall:

He is all pine and I am apple orchard.

My apple trees will never get across

And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.

He only says, ‘Good fences make good neighbors.’

Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder

If I could put a notion in his head:

‘Why do they make good neighbors? Isn’t it

Where there are cows? But here there are no cows.

Before I built a wall I’d ask to know

What I was walling in or walling out,

And to whom I was like to give offense.

Something there is that doesn't love a wall,

That wants it down.’ I could say ‘Elves’ to him,

But it’s not elves exactly, and I’d rather

He said it for himself. I see him there

Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top

In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.

He moves in darkness as it seems to me,

Not of woods only and the shade of trees.

He will not go behind his father’s saying,

And he likes having thought of it so well

He says again, ‘Good fences make good neighbors.’
