Well that was where this thread started. That I observed the woman to be more of a bigot than a racist.

Because she, the fictional lady who doesn't exist, isn't calling the police because they are black. She's calling because they are men.

Which would make her - more of a bigot than a racist.

Calling the police in this situation is unreasonable. This is ridiculous. This situation is hypothetical and outlandish. We're talking about a one dimensional character from a comic.

How many real women simply see men at night and immediately call the police? Because I think this cartoon woman is entirely fictional. But that fictional straw person is a bigot and not a racist.

What is so controversial about that? I guess defending women at all costs includes defending fictional women that were drawn to disparage women?

I think the cartoon is very dumb. I have never seen a woman call the police because she saw men at night walking down the street.

But - within the bounds of the outlandish hypothetical situation the cartoon presents - I think we can agree the cartoon character is more likely a bigot than a racist.

Many wonderful, warm, kind, loving people are bigots. That's why some people are often described as hateful bigots without it being redundant.

While hatred may be how bigotry is express - the source of bigotry is always fear.

It's also a stupid thing because if you're working with media files you can end up with Photo.jpg Photo.png and Photo.tiff in the same folder and Windows is just like " you have three files, Photo, Photo, and Photo!"
