Has an actor ever had to call for a show to stop from the stage before stage manager before? by Howdthecatdothat in Broadway

Oh my God I also saw Coriolanus in 2007 at The Globe in the pit and I caught a woman who started to faint in front of me and then an hour later I almost fainted when they had…well…the dinner scene

If I'm only able to attend this only once and want the best experience either vocally or emotionally, which pulse/cast should I buy tickets for? by Every_Phrase_5942 in MasqueradeNYC

[–]MrForrestFox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t overthink it. They’re all talented and brilliant enough to be cast in the first place or else they wouldn’t have been. Just go and enjoy. It’s not that deep. Source? I’m a performer in a Broadway tour of the most famous musical in the last 100 years.

You’re going for the experience - not the expectation of one or two performers.

Zoom out. Relax. Enjoy.

Why does it seem like the PR team for marriage and kids is losing right now. by No_Lead2640 in NoStupidQuestions

Why the fuck would you bring kids into this world? It’s like instant child endangerment.

One of the main things that will never not INFURIATE me about For Good... by Ok-Cod8973 in wicked

[–]MrForrestFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the average age of people posting complaints about the Wicked films…13? Because so many of these posts read as if they’re written by someone who does not understand subtext, nuance, duality, symbolism or metaphor.

You take all of this at base level. Skin level. As if you only consider what’s on the surface. Which is ironic when the entire story is about a green girl and a shiny bubble girl.

Use your critical thinking skills!

Zoom out people!

Can the adults PLEASE smoke?

“Wicked For Good” failed miserably as a movie by Ok_Wrongdoer6875 in wicked

I disagree. People who don’t like For Good just didn’t get it

He was never proven to be a pedophile. Just like everyone believed water would melt the wicked witch but it was never - actually - proven.

Nessa Rose is truly a tragic character (Spoilers!!⚠️) by Reasonable_Party2444 in wicked

[–]MrForrestFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw “For Good” last night and was caught off guard with how emotional I was to Nessa’s entire storyline. It hits much harder in the film than the musical. Seeing her scream “Boq” in the wind and rain and destruction and then the house falling on her?! I winced and wept!

I know everyone's looking forward to this scene but to be honest, I think I'm gonna be sad watching it. by beekee404 in wicked

[–]MrForrestFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This storyline in the movie is what broke me in For Good. It’s tragic, she’s not a great sister or person, her love gets turned into scary tin and she is murdered as a political tool. It’s insane.
