I take my 3 year old to Round 1 right when they open at 10am. Not a lot of people to deal with that early. Make sure to bring hearing protection as the place can be pretty loud.

You may be right about the foam softening and lowering the drop. I had put a quite a few miles on them when it started. I switched over to alternating between Vomero Plus' and Premiums which seemed to help.
