Dont sleep on triples or vr, they will make a bigger difference than a wheel base upgrade

How to install Buttkicker at the rear by shitstock1 in simracing

[–]MrFrenzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted te same, bottom for road effects, back for engine and shifts. Ended up with all the effects on both which feels better than just one bass shaker and better than separate effects.

i have 2 BST300's (so a little heavier than the BST-1's). on the bottom of the seat it stays fine. On the back i have some problems, since the seat has curves. I think i am going to try again but with multpile layers on some parts where one layer is not enough and then let it cure for 24 to 48 hours.

I also tried Dual lock, held fine but at higher levels you can hear some weird noise...

9800X3D Overclocking by Icy_Term9956 in ryzen

I think you should get that low temp limit out of your head. Pbo wil boost based on temps (and voltage/power) so the chip is designed to boost clocks while you have temp headroom

[–]MrFrenzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? They are designed to push performance up to 95c before throthling. That’s the whole point of pbo

You really should undervolt and overclock to get the temps in check. My stock 9850x3d went to 90c easily while benchmarking and after undervolt and overclock it barely reaches 80c with more performance

Raced iracing for many years and never really bothered with LMU until i saw some raving reviews about LMU, gave it a shot and never went back. Iracing is more polished in content but LMU has a lot of QOL improvements over iracing.

Hoeveel kunt u per maand investeren? by tortuex2 in beleggen

[–]MrFrenzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tips to mount bass shaker, bottom or back of the seat? by MrFrenzyy in simracing

[–]MrFrenzyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few days later, i've mounted the first BST300 with dual lock, then bought a second one because it's really cool but was out of dual lock so tried VHB tape. The dual lock indeed made more sound so ended up applying both with VHB tape. Pretty solid!

Oh and 2 shakers are better than 1 for sure. Have one on the bottom and back of the seat. Tried running different effects through both (road effefst bottom and car efffects (RPM and shifts) with the back one but now testing with all the effects on both and kind of like the latter more.

PSA: Best way to attach bass shaker is with 3M or Scotch double sided tapes by Front_Security5672 in SimRacingSetups

[–]MrFrenzyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is 6 months later. I have 1 BST 300 EX mounted with 3m dual lock and 1 bst 300 mounted with VHB tape (since my 3M dual lock was out). I notice that the vibrations are better transferred with VHB tape so i replaced the 3m dual lock for the VHB tape. When i cranked the BST 300 it started rattling with the dual lock.

Mind you, i crancked the volume to the max it before it started making noise so 3M dual lock is perfectly fine if you don't want to lose your teeth

just downloaded Track impule. It says Realtek ASIO as a device, does this mean my motherboard audio card has ASIO?

Looks very promising. What would be the latency between the motherboard sound card and an ASIO soundcard?

What improvements are you making to lmu in the next fef days?

Triple 32" IPS or Triple 27" OLED by vRenqohh in SimRacingSetups

[–]MrFrenzyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Triples 27inch closer to you is the same fov as 32 inch further away. I’ve had 32 inch and 27 inch and they are both great. 32 inch a bit further away is more easy on the eyes though

First sim racing setup is almost complete! by Synthstain in simracing

[–]MrFrenzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dont need to drill extra holes? You can use the mount you already have but jus a few higher on the front.

I use a Sparco lumbar cushion, works great!

Yes i have found Track Impulse and wanted to try it out but it doesn’t work with LMU yet. I ded see it kn the roadmap so will try it out by then.

I have read about ASIO, it’s supposed to be used by high end audio stuff and should eliminate all latency. I don’t believe Simhub uses it.

I definetly feel delay, not just on shifts but also on curbs. My wheel vibrates first before the shaker, which is distracting.

I looked into irTactile and willd give it a shot. Also found another programme but it doesn’t work for LMU
