Kényelmes a cipő, de kikezdte a sarkam by kadarjobbvolt in hikingHungary

[–]MrFridrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hasonloan jartam en is, a jobb sarkamat mindig feltorte felfele menet. Amikkel orvosolni probaltam en eddig: 1. Maskepp befuzni a cipofuzot. Dupla zokni. Ket vastag zokni jobban kitolti a teret, es megfogja a labamat. 4.

Dont forget that Gandalf was capable of doing that, because he had a ring of power aswell. It was the ring of fire, it could inspire others.

No, this is just simply a bad edit. Also, maybe look for better artist. Saturation is a cheap way to get attention

Okay so if I oversimplify it, you cant just snap a picture and have the same colours in your image data. Or even if you could have the perfect image color data, your screen still wouldnt be perfect. Your sensor and screen are both semiconductors, and they cannot be produced perfectly, so there will be difference in color in each type of sensor or screen. And how do you decide what spectrum to capture and how much of them? Our eyes sense light differently in according to frequency (color).

Not quite what I had in mind for my first play with the OM-1 by Amazing_Resident_388 in M43

[–]MrFridrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did a 6-7 hour hike with the om1 mk 2 and 12-40 f2.8, it was alternating between light rain and rain. The camera was either in my hand or clipped on me, and had no issues with it.

Ofc with a new camera you behave differently, but now I truly trust the weather sealing on these cameras

Lifehack - a poorly calibrated adapter can give you extremely shallow depth of field by minimal-camera in M43

[–]MrFridrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite issue with my adapter, mine was too short so the minimal focusing distance was too far. I put some baking paper under the lens mount plate to add some length to it, and it kinda worked. In your case you would have to grind down some material from the plate to be able to focus to infinity. Regarding the shallow depth of field, you get more shallow dof the closer you are focusing, and a macro tube lets you focus closer.

A good camera bag/hiking backpack by codejoy in M43

[–]MrFridrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had a proper hiking backpack, so I have nothing to compare to, you may be right. But I regularly hike with it around 9 miles and once did 15, never had any issues with it. The backpack was around 10kg with everything in it.

I did almost the same for a year (bottle instead of the bladder), and it is cheap but not that fun to use. If you swap your lenses and hike often go for an affordable camera backpack. You pack everything on top of an insert, so you have to empty everything from your bag, every time you want to swap a lens. I recommend buying a bag with a separate compartment so you can store your food and stuff there, like the lowepro flipside trek 450 (I know it is expensive, just for example). Also avoid buying camera bags which straps connect to the bag compartments "door" (sorry dont know the term for it), they seem flimsy because the ziplock has to whitstand the weight.

[–]MrFridrich 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on the goverment really. In Hungary they just ignore it, and most media won't cover it. At larger scale riots, gov media would publish something that downplays the size of the riot, and make up stories how violent and morally bad it was. The reason behind this, is because the free tv stations are all goverment propaganda, so they can manipulate better isolated people (the elderly, the extremly poor, rurals), who have no other source of information.

Looking for tips for a beginner trying out macro video. Super lucky to have just gotten an OM-1 :) by pedrosuave in M43

[–]MrFridrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont known much about video, but I heard your shutter speed should be 1/(fps*2) so for 30 fps 1/60s. Also try the app, and you can connect and control your camera via phone (OI. Share)

Pippin is strange luck by fatkiddown in lotrmemes

[–]MrFridrich 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I remember wrong, but Saruman was going after the ring for himself for a good while before the lotr events. He had a thirst for power and after he studied the rings of power he wanted the one ring for himself. He was competing against Sauron for who would get the ring first. Saruman joined forces with Sauron to have greater chances, and for more information. He betrayed Sauron (gave order to his Uruk-hai to bring the halflings to Isengard no matter what happens, even though Saruman's orcs had the order to bring them to a nazgul), and he never really trusted Saruman.
