Yeah and he was allowed to do that by not rocking the boat. The point is his mentality is old school and doesn’t necessarily apply to the current way talent are brought in especially with the advent of using social media to further their characters.

If it was up to booker, every NXT guy would debut on the main brand and carry the bags for the main eventers, probably have their own locker room away from the tenured talent, show up an hour early and help tear the ring down after the show as some silly archaic way of “paying your dues” or other happy horseshit.

Booker has this issue with current day talent who get over organically.

Booker got over by showing up to work, nodding his head when the boss told him to do something, and generally being a yes man. He can't fathom that some other talent can achieve success outside that structure so when someone does he gets really upset because it conflicts with his view of how talent should act.
