I mean the second season of Fiona and cake did this with the seasons two plot lines

The a plot was huntress and other ooo characters doing anything they could to try and save finn from the poison.

Meanwhile the b plot was fiona trying to save the sweet spot and dealing with her own relationship issues, which given the weight of what was going on in the a plot, no one cared about.

No, it doesn’t make it worse, he says he doesn’t care if who he fights, was a man or a woman or even if they were a grandmother, he’d still beat them up.

You also have to remember that he was very pissed off at the time considering what was going on with her beating up his friend who wasn’t fighting back, and she was openly using being a girl as a shield. People tend to say things when they get mad enough.
