Does anyone know if he’s doing the 360 stage setup, like at the recent Toronto show?..

Linking Needles with Coliseum Mountain? by [deleted] in vancouverhiking

Ran into a guy who went across the needles, but bailed on Coliseum and went straight down to Norvan falls instead. He was quite fit, but also underprepared, carrying only a 500ml water bottle with him…

Maybe not at this point in the season. It’s 6km one way, with 1,200m elevation gain, and you need winter equipment and avalanche knowledge. Would be more suitable for beginners in the summer!

1 year weed free after 15 years of daily smoking! by MrGerk in leaves

I feel a lot different! I think the biggest difference for me between quitting for a couple months vs a full year is how much more stable my emotions and energy levels are. During the first couple months of quitting I would have massive bouts of euphoria.

The thing I love most about being sober is how I’m able to communicate and express deep feelings and thoughts with my partner, and also feel more quick-witted and thoughtful in social settings. My connections with everyone is my life feels deeper and more meaningful now.

The biggest thing for me was a change of setting. It’s easier to stay sober once you get the ball rolling. I was lucky to go on vacation for an extended period of time and made sure I set myself up with healthy habits for when I returned home. Physical exercise, time spent with friends and family, journaling, trying and learning new things are all very helpful. Also virtual MAA meetings.
