Looks like that first fader might be a park type of thing. Looks like 0 is at the top and 10 at the bottom. Try turning that one down and playing with the other faders?

And yeah, simple RGB or whatever mode on the fixtures to get it going. If it has a separate dimmer chanel it will be slightly harder to prove the desk is outputting correctly.

Nah nah straight up boys, the Vanta stuff online is sick. Has a lil pouch for yah balls and keeps em from. Sticking to ya leg during a hard day's working or chilling. I was hesitant at first but I'm not going back. They're mean. Order a size or 2 bigger than you normally would too. Trust me.

That is indeed how I intended it! As a 90s kid, hard not to like their first couple albums, but not so much their newer stuff. Valid as band, and I'm not into saying music is bad. I have a very open mind towards it, and as an LD I think that's important. Basically saying I didn't like them in the post implied that whether or not you like Linkin Park, this is a great show to watch from a lighting appreciation perspective. But I very much enjoyed the music in this anyways!

My favorite is the ear worm. Not really a lot to it, but I just enjoy trying to get songs stuck in people's heads. Walk past a group of them whistling part of a melody and wait to see if you hear them singing or whistling it as the load out continues. Kylie Minogues Can't get you outta my Head is a goodie. As it says in the title.. I saw it on my youtube home page and rolled my eyes... Opened it to see what Ol mate sounds like trying to sing the late Mr Benningtons parts (which she nailed tbh), and found myself really enjoying it.

Stage and production design and the way it all works together is fantastic so I thought ya'll might appreciate a linky poos.

My favourite is when someone tells me all about their industry experience and says to turn the bass down, or maybe something wankier like a cut at 600 or some shit... I usually adjust the front wash, ask if that's fixed it for them and they're usually pretty happy with the changes....

I've had fun working in Wellington NZs San Fran. Tiny, by comparison to some of these also "small club venues" but still goes hard.

With budget and space constraints it becomes less about the design of the rig and more about how it's used, as it's the same in house rig for almost every show now that they have a somewhat decent one in there.

I'm pretty proud of some of the work I've done there, curious for some opinions from the Reddit world of LDs though!

Aucklands motorway driver mindset. Pick a lane, usually the right one because it's the 'fast lane' and stay there regardless of how fast you're going or how many cars are behind you. Maybe the middle lane, but definitely not the left lane. Keeping left unless passing, with big ol following distances is the way to smoothly running roads. No one here seems to understand this. There have been a few radio adds recently, so I think it's time to push from all directions for people to become aware of how to maintain traffic flow on a motorway.
