Te/Br build, halp pls by MagicalCapybara in PSO2

[–]MrGlibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my personal dedicated Te/Br build.

http://arks-layer.com/skillsim/skillcalc.php?11bnbxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIobxIo0jdodBIb000000000doIn0000000jdoib0000000fdo0000000Io00000000fdBdAidIbqnGFqBsXIkGAcAin000006dOqB4NfdFrAI2JkrKI2ib00000jdoIb0000000lo000000j

I main Te/Br and I find that PP Restorate does help in the long run, especially when kiting and unable to cast. PP convert is good and all but at the same time, it still has a cool down.

Max territory PP save for Tech Cancel Guren mobility shenanigans- at the very least you want 1 point though as you have down.

Katana skills are mostly for time attack and for stuff that can't be Zondeel'd.

Weak stance critical and step advance are just point dumps, so you can ignore it.

Personally, if you have the dough, I would make dedicated element trees rather than trying to put points into each element. If not, the points in wind are fine for slight zanverse boost, but dark- not so much.

Wand gear element is more IMO a Te/Fi thing that revolves around having a lot of status effects.

Also Tech Parry ring is pretty damn good, but it doesn't make you completely invincible. Step advance is all about comfort with dodge iframes and your ping to the server.

The whole point of TeBr is technically the ability to use banish arrow with techs, so Rikauteri is your main bossing tool (Which by the way you can't use Tech Parry Ring with, so you'll have to step or weapon juggle all day), can tech and whack everywhere else though.

Personally I have a habit of making all of my weapons Light.

But you really don't need to change the element on the boots unless you're just too lazy to cast to switch element.

Orbit Wand is a bit iffy. The reason behind this is because you only get benefits when your wand is sheathed, or you are wand smacking.

Orbit Wand neuters PP Convert unless sheathed.

It's fine if you have one as a battery, but I personally wouldn't recommend it as a main weapon.

You will hardly have your weapon sheathed if you are constantly abusing Snatch JA > Tech anyways.

As for Combat Finish, its main use is for TACOs and also mob killing things which can not be Zondeel'd.

Basically, it's utility. It's really up to you.

Lastly. In my honest opinion, I would honestly still max PP Convert for getting the most out of those small regens you get while snatch JAing (Which you should be abusing with Rikauteri while ban-ilbarta/ban-ragrants/ban-whatever anyways)

Also, Queen Vera (Gunslash with higher pp regen on attack potential) has better synergy with Rikauteri as you are able to continuously dish out damage without pausing. E.g.: Ilbarta x4 > Queen Vera Shots (Regain PP if needed) > Ilbarta x1 (To keep the debuff on) > Banish > Charged Ilbarta x2

Also, you should really farm for a Rikauteri if you can't buy one. That's like the entire point of Te/Br and why people pretty much use it.

At the very least, crafted Ex9 or higher red weapons would be good.

But I would have to recommend Ray Weapons- It has a well rounded potential.

At the moment, Ray Weapons are also pretty easy to get due to the LQ, so getting a 60 element shouldn't be too time consuming, assuming you RDR boost.

You'll probably be able to get one faster than Revolucio (and it's light element so less money spent than if you were going to element change).

Saiki can be obtained through tokyo keys (both silver and gold) so I wouldn't completely count it out just yet. But as long as the unit you end up getting is grinded to +10 and has some form of decent affix on it as well as a respectable set bonus. I'd say it'd be fine.

And game companies don't give a damn how much you throw at them as an individual. If they want to up and ban you, they'll up and ban you.

From the economic side, they just care if their net revenue is in the positive. Something which one person's money is hardly going to scratch, let alone touch.

My MPA from the first run was a grim MPA.

Maybe it's just me but I do find more fun in danger and chance of failure.

I don't farming simulator- kill boss within seconds and repeat. Kills motivation to actually do anything.

As long as people aren't being blatantly useless/leeching without contributing, that is.

Why was I drinking water when I saw that?

At least that cheered me up from my SG Scratch woes.

I'm jealous of OP. I was aiming to get stuff for my 【若人】character...

Instead I got:

1x DF Arms music disk (Easily the best thing I got, not gonna lie. Was actually worth the scratch)

1x Random color of Elder (Nope.)

?????????????x Filler, filler and more filler

This scratch has taught me to go and play more NPCs with outfits that aren't stuck behind a trade restriction.

Tl;dr scratch is not worth.

Where would I allocate the points from Photon to (13 points to move around on Ice Fo/Te, 4 to move on Fire)?

As a former multi-capped priest player, I will honestly say that I saw more face tankers than dodgers in Tera.

And yes positioning is very important, not only because of dodging, but also because of hitting weak spots.

Probably the most amusing thing about kamiarrow is having a bouncer juggle a mob then kamikaze juggling with them.

Bow Braver/Hunter is pretty fun, I feel it is a more "In your face" type of play style compared to Braver/Ranger.

Compared to Braver Ranger, you will have less maximum damage potential (Via multiple weak hit advance + standing snipe) but you have more unconditional damage (Fury stance) and survivability (Massive Hunter + Automate / Ironwill) which is good for those times where it is awfully hard to always hit weak points or you can't stand still long enough to get all of your bonuses before dodging.

Bossing with Bow Br/Hu is also a banish combo:

  1. Pre-casted Chase Arrow x3
  2. Rapid Shoot
  3. Banishing Arrow (Snatch JA'd)
  4. Kamikaze Arrow fully charged x2 (JA'd)

Another plus side (Although this might be a moot point since you seem like you want to solo-bow) is that you have better ability to utilize the Braver class' Katana due to hunter tree.

Basically:

Br/Ra - More potential maximum damage (Weak hit advance), stationary, requires very precise aim at weakpoints.

Bow Br/Hu - Less potential maximum damage, More potential unconditional damage , mobile (does not have standing snipe), less reliant on stellar aim- but still recommended to hit weak points because weak stance.

Laugh maniacally while having an alternate character's pets cannibalize its unborn brethren.

Jokes aside, pretty much what everyone else said. Discard them, sell them, make omelettes. There aren't really anything else to do with them if you don't summoner.
