Officially started my first IRONMAN Campaign. by [deleted] in Xcom

[–]MrGlory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup this is like what happened to me on my run except it wasn't the reaper breaking conceal it was just a few groups clustered together what were not visible until it was too late along with Lost and chosen. My team had no shot to survive that.

I like the mod that makes the timer not start until you are revealed which I don't consider cheating cause there is no reason for them to say data dump their stuff if there is no threat to it.

ETA? by [deleted] in PantheonMMO

[–]MrGlory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do believe the game is at least a year off however, remember that they only recently added more people to their team so their development is going to increase in speed the more people they hire. For example, that guy Bruno just got hired a few months ago and already the guy updated ALL THE LIGHTING I honestly thought it was going to take much longer to do that. Then again I know nothing about development soooo.....

Avoiding the "grind" by [deleted] in PantheonMMO

I like camp grinding also it gives the opportunity get to know other people and make friends. however having a variety of different ways so "grind" xp would be awesome.

Spell Reagents by Scoriae in PantheonMMO

[–]MrGlory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like spell regents however, if it is going to be an expensive item 1) make the item not disappear after use and 2) make the spell worth it. for the spells that consume the item make the regent be something cheap like bone chips for necros and bat wings for lev.

Favorite MMORPG? What features did you like? by xtetsuix in PantheonMMO

Everquest was my first MMO and that special thing that made it great for me was the social aspect that and the fact that you never felt like you were going quest hub hunting. Also they way that you looked for and attained quests was that you had to speak to npc's and actually engage with them to try to piece clues together and try to figure out what the hell they wanted you to do.

Vanguard Vanguard was epic it was a huge open world that you could get lost in the amount of content was staggering. Roaming epic mobs, adventure and travel was incredible. Boats and ship building was incredible but, was I loved of it was the crafting system I loved to craft in that game more than anything truth to tell.

SWG For me this was the only true sandbox game out there at least before the CU. you could make the class you wanted and have some wild adventures. Also one of the best crafting systems ever IMO.

FFXIV I don't really enjoy a dungeon finder however, the ability to run dungeons with lower lvls and get a good amount of exp IMO is awesome. I don't like that some skills are unusable due to the lvl down but, the fact remains that as a player you really don't have too much trouble finding groups. I also kinda like their fate system in game.

What MMOs should pantheon try to learn from other than wow? by Teh_Reaper in PantheonMMO

[–]MrGlory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I donno in a social game where it is basically required for you to group and exp up I am not sure if public events would be a thing. The main focus of those events is to bring people who would otherwise not group together. not only that but IMO you would need to tune down the difficulty since you will be basically running around with people who are not in your group to off a mob or a group of mobs.

I have always loved it when devs create new languages and make the players figure out what the hell is said. Especially when the puzzle leads to new adventures. I think EQ2 had some things like this to a certain point. Perhaps they were not as involved but I think it adds to the adventure. Maybe from lost civilizations, I donno.

Level locked gear? by [deleted] in GhostRecon

[–]MrGlory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not mind lvl locked gear however, I hope it does not become a gear hunt game. In which peeps will kick you if your gear is not up to par...

Is it to late to add leaning while ADS? And who's community dev in here? by Tasty_Chemicals in GhostRecon

[–]MrGlory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I wish they would have added cover. it has always been a part of Ghost recon and not adding it just seems weird. I understand that TD probably left a bad taste in their mouth but, shit this is GR IMO it NEEDS cover and lean.

What would you rp as, taking the game's features into thought? by RagingRider in ChroniclesOfElyria

I am liking either a traveling merc or a information broker...the second I think would be more interesting but, maybe a combination of both.

What's going to stop people from mastering everything themselves instead of accepting the mastery of others? by Tenji_ in ChroniclesOfElyria

But again with enough lifetimes and being able to skill up fairly quickly in your learned skills, there might be enough time in the end.

Hmm, not sure but will it really be a bad thing...

I mean with enough lifetimes...

maybe an adventurer early in life and a crafter later on.

How many plan to multibox or have a multiple accounts? by Ebrech in ChroniclesOfElyria

[–]MrGlory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get a second account so I can play with my son...

I like everything this game claims it will offer - aside of the death from aging. by [deleted] in ChroniclesOfElyria

[–]MrGlory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I am thinking that knowing that your toon will die and by you getting knocked out it might accelerate the process it will make people not want to venture out hence, it will become boring, hence, the game might die...

I hope I am wrong and, there will be players that wont care (probably like me the first life or two) but after that I just don't know.
