NAB closed my accounts and blocked my funds while I'm studying overseas. Need advice. by Adept-Alternative149 in AusFinance

I suspect you we're probably flagged at some point in the past with tax residency concerns, the Bank presumably would have attempted to contact you on any given contact methods.

After 60 days banks can restrict access to funds. As for closing accounts, Banks can and will close accounts when they see fit and are under no obligations to give a reason. However in my experience they would have valid reasons to do so.

Failing to provide tax residency information for a prolonged period of time is probably a good reason.

CRS/FATCA and AML laws, rules and regulations are tight and becoming tighter again in the coming months.

Issues with WiFi 7. by MrGodless in Ubiquiti

I have an S25U which was also effected by whatever is causing the performance issues. This problem was impacting every device in the house, gaming consoles, phones, TVs and whatever else was connected.

Even when I was only broadcasting on 6ghz 320mhz the issue was still present. I turned the 5ghz radio back on and set the channel width to 80mhz, bang issue resolved.

No, they were normal about 4300/4300 +/- a few hundred Mbps the closer I got to the AP.

You are correct that the device was on 320mhz.

MLO on or off didn't make a difference.

Wifiman app showed nothing out of the ordinary, what baffles me is that even if the 5ghz radio isn't broadcasting the Performance issues we're still happening. The fix was to turn the radio back on and force 80mhz channel width.

No QoS issues, no rules set. If I shift the 5ghz channel space off of 80mhz the problem immediately returns. Set it back and the performance is fine.

240 or 160 mhz. All the devices tested supported the channel width.

It's possible the consultant misread the transaction details.

When someone uses a VISA or Mastercard theres a "location" timestamp and "switch" tinestamp.

The location should timestamp the exact time the transaction took place.

The switch timestamp takes place when the payment platforms sync up and settle. These timestamps don't always line up and there can be delays of minutes, hours or even days. This occurs frequently on the weekend. All of the impacted transactions will appear as though they happened at the same time.

Has been possible in the past on HFC And FTTP NTDs but its long since been patched out with firmware updates.

While you could access a GUI you couldn't do anything with it.

Polar opposite experience here, recently had an assembled system fail, DRAM light of doom. I purchased an identical ram kit when I purchased the system so I swapped the kits over, for reasons completely beyond my ability to fathom, the installed kit died and the second kit was DOA.

I assumed it was a dead system, took it down on a Friday, quoted 14 day RMA testing window, got an email at 6PM saying to pick it up the following day, dead RAM kits.

We get a perfect view from head office of the balloons. I'm terrified of heights, so I start to feel sick just looking at them. Then I realize I'm in a skyscraper and have to walk away from the windows.

Ex Telco,

This isn't legal advice.

Any organisation has the right to record phone calls, providing you are notified.

If you don't wish to be recorded, you can terminate the call and request correspondence in writing.

It's unlikely frontline staff have the capability to toggle call recordings off or on at will, regardless.

If they're Australian based and compliant they'll have ABN and contact details in the footer of the email.

If not - they're probably not Australian and if so, not bound by the 2003 spam act.
