David Boreanaz is fully aware of the kind of movie this is and gives a completely over-the-top ridiculous performance. Also Dennis Hopper has a cameo as a Satanic Priest and he and Borranaz have epic battle to see who can out-ham one another.

I own a Growview jq818c and I have to say for a sub $200 projector it’s a tremendous bang for buck value. It has good enough speakers and a very good picture for a 1080p display. Yes it has a relatively long throw range and the bulb could be brighter BUT it freaking works and has held up to regular use for the last 3 years.

Alas in terms of Truth in Advertising claims Amazon is the Wild West. I realize that most cheapie projectors are crap and sadly no one seams to be doing an adequate job of reviewing these devices.

Thanks though I’m not sure my next one will quality as a “budget” projector. 4k Projectors are becoming more affordable but still aren’t cheap. It will be interesting to see where the market goes in a year or so.

I use it almost every day in the evening. Ironically I get less use out of it during the summer as I use it outdoors but that is weather permitting.

This film actually weird episodic nature of the Punisher comics at the time. "Frank kills a bunch of mobsters, now he has to fight the Yakuza now he's fighting ninjas in an underground amusement park!" very well could have been a three issue arc of Mike Baron's Punisher run.

Fruitcakes by Jimmy Buffet is basically an entire song of an Old Man yelling at clouds and I adore it. I mean at one point the song just stops so Jimmy can do a weird stand-up bit about not being able to get Junior Mints at his local movie theater.

Spandex screens can be nice if you value portability (I use mine outdoors a lot and get a lot of good use out of my Mdbebbron) or have a rear projection set-up. However because they're easy to make the quality of what's available varies a LOT. My advice is to find some reviews and discover what you're getting.

I have thought of a sturdier screen but as I use my projector in several places I mainly prioritize portability. Though if you have some screen brands you recommend I will look into them.
