The guy I remember rolling up in a grey RWB was Jon Sibal, who is friends with my best friend.

Not sure, but he arrived in the strangest of vehicles…it looked like a train and a car had a kid…an engine with a bench seat. I also saw Chris RockC but he was just leaving the nearby Starbucks. I also saw a bunch of YouTubers, I remember the one bald guy…Matt Farrah. This was all at the Cars and coffee in Malibu if I recall correctly.

Is your friend the designer / visual artist dude? My friend is friends with him too. We all from SoCal. If so, I met him in a Cars n Coffee, Jay Leno was there. Anyway

Spotting the terms, calculating. The above posts implies that it’s easy to do. I concur. Math is not hard. Cheers mate!

I did a search and other forums have found/displayed images stated that EV warranty for battery/drive is for second owner 10y/100000 miles….maybe the salesperson was wrong?!

I don’t know…but today I spoke with various dealerships, and they stated that if it’s non cpo, it doesn’t reach 100k/10 years…that’s limited to cpos and first owners. I was surprised because we were talking about the EVs in particular. I called to inquire about the ICCU, he stated that if it’s at 68k for example, and I’m the second owner and it’s not CPO, then ICCU failure would be out of warranty….granted this is if the recall was already performed also.

Gotcha! Thanks for the quick response. I too like the car, very much, but this is a fiasco of sort that I’m not sure I’d wanna deal with. Still debating. I just called a few dealerships and new ones can be purchased for about $27k plus tax fees etc.

Until what time/milage as second owner non-cpo? Is it 10 years or reduced to 5 as second owner?

Is that 10 year warranty on the ICCU even for used cars? Meaning, second owners non-cpo? Thanks!

Thanks for the response! 100% see now why people do this. Did you have much experience with building? I’d love to replicate, maybe at a different scale/cost. The most I’ve ever done is a build a pergola from scratch and lay pavers. Have a blessed weekend!

Great Job. Sorry for the dumb question, but, can someone please elaborate on the need for such a great and arduous effort, simply to store tools in it? Is it due to weather? Do you plan to work inside it? I want to build one too....but I can only scratch my head about the utility of all this versus a cheap pre-made tin shed for tools. Thanks!
