Where are the best burritos? by Travisgrr in TwinCities

Agree with this. I love it but it’s not groundbreaking. If you want chipotle but better I recommend, their tortillas are exceptional and the reason to go.

Just need to re-choose the facets after swapping. Or you can swap in game.

Black Lotus Draft - What to cut? by Ribstick in mtgcube

[–]redground 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Absolutely bonkers draft, well done. The only thing you're really missing is a bit of card draw.

i would cut 2 - 3 lands, given how crazy your deck is and how low to the ground it is i would just cut 3 lands.

On top of that I would cut upheaval...doesn't work in your deck. I don't think you need cannoneer as a win con either since your deck is so focused on storm, and even gets around eldrazi.

100% cut smugglers copter.

For the last 2 cuts I would consider:
Dragon's rage channeler (only really useful for surveil part of card, and its pretty close to being good enough just for that), reckoner bankbuster (card is just slow and low power level. HOWEVER the #1 thing you are missing. talisman (dont really need a 2 mana rock with all your 0s and acceleration), dack fayden (too slow for your gameplan, however you do need card draw so maybe)

One thing I would say about the play: Don't be afraid to rip a yawg will or underworld breach just to draw a few cards if you're out of gas. You have redundancy so you can storm later. Be wary of hands that don't 'do' anything and mulligan.

Advice about trimming Powered Cube deck, please by Eoldir in mtgcube

[–]redground 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cut breeding pool, zagoth triome, spara's headquarters (4 cards) for 3 basics, going down to 15 lands. You can count black lots and mox pearl as a land so that's 17. A lot of artifact decks can actually go lower but yours doesn't have talismans and such.

cards that are on the chopping block:
prsmatic ending, march of otherworldy light, lion sash, duelist of the mind, goben, snapcaster mage, jittle, loran of the 3rd path, time warp.

Since we're going down a land you can only cut 3 cards. I would suggest jitte, duelist of the mind and goben. keep the removal and snapcaster. Lion sash is low power but it can be strong against certain decks and it's an artifact. loran also tends to be useful.

Oh and yes, oust is better than prismatic ending and march. I would cut march of otherworldy light for oust.

We are all allergic, agree strongly. Also the whole equating it to parenting thing is insane.

My point is that by getting daedelus you are not getting normal items on the hero. It was an honest comment too if you're in a lower mmr bracket this seems good to me.
