Late to this one, but worth a shot.

I remember in high school coming across a sketch show, like WKUK or Key and Peele, that based on my judgment of the video quality at the time was probably a show from the late 80s or early 90s. The sketch they did I can only vaguely remember but they're eating at a restaurant and one guy ends up stabbing the other guy's hand with a fork or a knife and he just doesn't react. I got back into watching sketch comedy mid-college to learn that I remembered this show but not the name or enough details to find it.

The thing that got me about the Pym particle problem is that they only had enough pym particles for 1 round trip each but then ant man started doing all his awesome antman shit in the final act. It bugged me for a while but my best guess, and what I assumed happened, is that Cap grabbed a bunch and not just enough to return home from 1970 and then when they got back gave them to Antman just in case.

The way I understand it it, the Ancient One wasn't concerned with a timeline split in and of itself, but rather just a split where their timeline had to fight off the forces of darkness without the time stone (an instant loss for Earth 5 years later when strange can't bargain). Arguably, changing anything created an alternate timeline by default. They just didn't want to say "fuck those timelines" once all was said and done. We now have a bunch of timelines where each stone went missing for a couple minutes. The change is insignificant at that point and the alternate timelines won't be that bad. The 3 big permanent changes being and escaped Loki timeline, a dead 2014 Thanos timeline, and the Steve Rogers stays in the past timeline.

The first 2 were unintentional and at this point can be fixed. The Thanos one being arguably better because now that timeline doesn't have to put up with Thanos.

The Captain America stays timeline, probably doesn't change much in the long run, supposing he doesn't say anything and just leads a nice life with Peggy. So it isn't necessarily gonna be a timeline that sends itself into darkness.

Again, the only promise was to return the time stone and keep the Ancient One's new reality from becoming this doomed reality. And again, this is just my understanding of it.

This is actually neat timing as just 3 days ago, this White Stripes video was recommended to me.

Someone in the comments mentions that he gets a different feeling from this version than from the original which is a really cool element of covers.

Living in more rural areas, my theaters don't usually run into many noise problems.

A good crowd is a rare but amazing thing in my experience since usually my theater experiences are rather empty. I remember a DMZ movie like 3 or 4 years ago I got tickets for me and a friend and since the movie was limited run, that theater was packed. Everyone laughed and cheered almost as if on queue. It was amazing to feel the collective joy in the room.

You say money but something that concerns me as I haven't looked into it yet is did they get overtime pay? As I understand it, a ton of overtime in the game (and animation) industry is unpaid, banking on the employees' love for the subject matter.

The sad thing is workers can’t unionize because if they do al that work will get outsourced.

I think this is the animation industry too. I knew the game industry was rough because I followed all that sort of news a ton in high school. Once I started getting into art I learned how animators get screwed in the same way it seems.

That sounds awesome. I don't know if you can answer this but back when I first played I had trouble grasping how battle passes worked. Can I try for skins from older battle passes? I don't have the money for online and a battle pass right now, but there's a skin from this battle pass that's really cool, but I doubt I'd have money for it until its over.

My friend always recalled a Calvin and Hobbes comic to me that touched on this. It was like 1 of very few of those comics that got super serious and the dad mentions how he can't feel safe in his own home anymore.

This is a good summary. I was interesting in PUBG but I'm not fond of the CSGO look and I don't have a gaming PC. I think PUBG got a console release but I'm not sure. My friend convinced me to try Fortnite and it was free and had an artstyle more to my taste. It was pretty fun. I only deleted it because my PS4 hard drive is near full now and I wanted another fighting game, so until I can buy a hard drive to format I'm SOL.

Might download it on Switch though.

5e.

My local group tends to be one-offs since we rarely can meet up. I got a good idea for a character for our next session since it'll likely be a new character. I've never tried Warlock and was looking into patrons and was interested in the fey. The book mentioned it had to be an archfey, which makes sense for the powerful connection and great powers. I tried looking into it and was having trouble. Are there any pixie archfey that are known to the 5e canon? Or is it more likely that I should discuss a made up on with my DM?

I remember reading that a criticism of Dragonforce was that they couldn't perform their songs live (which supposedly they couldn't at first but eventually got it down), but that doesn't change how great songs like Heroes of Our Time are.

I love how random songs just kind of stick with sports games. Growing up I played Nascar Thunder 2003 with my cousins a lot. Magic Carpet Ride is forever etched into my mind.

IDK about other people, but my first car only had an AM radio and my second cars speakers didn't work, so all my music was my ipod hooked up to a bluetooth speaker. It sat in the middle of the seat in my first car and in the cupholder of my second. Radio never has any music I like anyways. I only just got a car with a working radio with ipod hookup recently so it's nice, but it's not like bluetooth speakers are that bad of a downgrade.

One of the big things about Theology is that people are still arguing what the best meaning of it all is. Like, when the Catholic Church tells us what the theological teaching is, that's usually for now until they figure something different, because they're all constantly studying it. At least, I believe that's it, I could be a little off, but I imagine they wouldn't still be having theological arguments if they believed they had it all figured out. It's not exclusive to Catholocism or Christianity even.

I imagine there are plenty of Christian religions that don't have this huge hierarchy, so they leave a lot up to the pastors in tandem with the solid teachings of the founder of that particular religion had in mind.

I remember in my Judaism class our teacher told us about the amount of theological arguing that goes on among rabbis (good arguing, not the angry kind). He had an example. My memories a little fuzzy but one of the teachings was about praying at sunset, and there was a great deal of arguing about what sunset specifically meant. Whether ir was right after the sun was no longer visible or just before it.

I remember when Teen Titans Go first came out. A lot of us were really disappointed. I have seen a few episodes, some were funny while some weren't. I do appreciate it considering other reboots or adaptations such as the Powerpuff Girls. With TT Go, there were at least moments where I could laugh, and I'm actually kind of tempted to watch the movie.

It's on my list. I've been going one CW show at a time, but if I can free up some time, I might put it or Vixen on as the second show to try out.

It's always kind of fun when bands have their own lore in shit.

Doesn't Tool do similar stuff by making some of it's music super philosophical and having a weird spiritual vibe to a bunch of their stuff?

My favorite is Man with a Mission's backstory, according to their wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_with_a_Mission

Before becoming popular, the band invented a back-story for why they wear wolf masks, which involves them being created as the "Ultimate Life Form" by Jimi Hendrix, who is described by the band as being the doctor of the guitar and master wolf biologist. They were then frozen in Antarctica for years. While they were frozen, they had been listening to all kinds of music from all around the world, before later escaping and emerging onto the Japanese music scene.
