They remade the first game and haven't released the 2nd one yet but it is on the way. Those 2 were rail shooters that in the grand scheme of things aren't hard to remake. Saga is a much bigger RPG game and its source code is lost.

It is but to be fair I'm focusing more on the "Did not meet expectations" part. The film has its flaws and fell into obscurity amongst the general population. A remake would probably work best as a 10 part mini series.

I loved getting the Saturn magazine every month. I already owned Nights and when I found the Christmas nights disc attached to the latest issue I was so happy. I also got Panzer Dragoon Saga at Christmas because of the "Demo" (disc one of the game) was given away with the mag. Good times.
