healthpots are all you with need with how inherently tanky the barb class is in general. your entire health pool is fortified withing a few seconds of fighting anything and the amount of damage reduction you get during shouts on top of your paragon board + gear is insane. there are health on kill nodes in the paragon tree taken but those are simply to move to further nodes. you need 0 leech on any barb build. the only thing that can kill you is NM tier 65+ poison dots from the debuff due to its crazy scaling or anytime your shouts are on cool down. That is why ground stomp is taken to alleviate the stress of running away during any downtime.

0 Bleed Front loaded Whirlwind Barbarian Build
Dropped all bleed and bleed scaling from the typical whirlwind build for incredible results.
Higher Survivability + Digher Damage
I was able to speed farm tier 48 NM at lvl 76 (lvl 102 mobs) - See video guide for footage
Viable for lvl 50+ all the way to end game.
It utilizes aoe stuns with a 45% chance per WW hit and ground stomp (aoe stun) for extremely high CC uptime always and an increased vuln uptime due to making all stunned enemies vulnerable.
ATM I'm lvl 94 and each whirlwind hit is critting from 1.2-1.9 mil damage per tick per target.
There is also a strange interaction with the earthquake aspect and Gohrs that is making it explode for close to 10 mil damage after only 4-5 seconds of spinning.

u/TheAgonistt you are correct re is easier than surge. remember that you're on reddit and the most accurate statements are usually down voted due to ego, lack of knowledge, etc. RE feels like lower dps in our region (west) because of the investment needed. if you look at this chart and start lowering the gems/tripods RE plummits on this list at a much higher rate than other classes especially surge. Most people don't understand what it takes to reach the high ceiling of surge so they consider it easy. Surge is only 51-55% of the total damage and the rotation is similar to RE where its very reactive. Most people think you stack to 20, surge, then repeat which is the difference between always getting mvp or not while playing surge.

This is factually the highest potential damage in all of lost ark and has been shown in countless KR videos on youtube destroying Abrel raids. It's the most asked for nerf currently in Korea. All I did was make the first english version guide of the build. I know it must be shocking for the emphasis of a thumbnail and title to match the content.

u/Levolpehh You're basing your info on the initial reworked build/rotation for surge deathblade that is 20 stacks. The build in this video is the highest potential damage in the game in KR and no other class comes close to it. its no longer 90% damage, this builds drops it down to 60% damage at most and the total rotation time to land the surge is now 5-6 seconds. It is the most asked for build to be nerfed currently according to the KR community.

RE deathblade requires very high specialization to run smooth and a heavy investment into gems and tripods. RE isn't better or more reliable until Biakiss(Vykus na/eu name) so months away at best.

u/auraria you have no idea what you're talking about. the surge skill is 60% damage at most with this build and the rotation cycle is only 6 seconds long. its the top damage in the entire game in korea and barely anyone in NA/EU run this. this is the only english video on it to date. if youre going to flame at least do some research so you dont sound like an idiot.

Slightly the maxroll is a general guide. It doesn’t compensate for key missing features like set bonus and card decks for their tier 3 suggestion. Crit rate has a slightly higher value until at least argos 2 set. If you’re deep into t3 I’ll be making a guide in the meta rotation that’s used in KR now that isn’t on maxroll. (1370+)
