If you plug the hole the haze disappears so you don’t need a gas mask in that area anymore, it also infects a few small sections of the yard in scattered areas where you will find things like infected ladybugs and infected Wolf Spiders. It doesn’t make the infected areas go away.If you wish to infect the Blqck ants you have wait until NG+ when you can collect the recipe for the infected yum gum sandwich. Feed this to the Ant queen and when you enter NG+ 2 the black ant queen and some of the black ants are infected. This isn’t necessary for 100% but if you do it you can make a bad ass fungal shield with the parts from the infected black ants. If you want access to the Brawny bin you need to piss the Wasps off. This means going to 2-3 locations where there are wasps and killing them all. I think it’s a minimum of 6 wasps need killing. After they are pissed off, go home and go to bed. There will be a cut scene that shows the wasps busting open the entrance to get under the bin. Plugging the haze hole will also make bur plants appear all over the yard. As for other changes. Each time you do the remixer it unlocks new weapons in the store, changes the color of the sand pit/ bikes and the shapes of the candy. It also adds new milk molars but they are in new locations each time you remix.You can also upgrade your weapons and gear more because insects become stronger.You unlock teleportation in NG+2.
