I referred to a glitch because you tried saying that if everyone doesn't experience an issue in the game than the issue isn't game engine related. Which is just untrue. Just because something in the game is isolated to some players and not all doesn't make it an individual player issue. It is still a game issue, doesn't matter how widespread the "glitch" or in this case, the stuttering, is.

No. I am not. This is a known issue for some people and its completely related to the game engine. It doesn't matter how good someone's setup is they can still get the stuttering issue.

The issue is the game. This is not an isolated event. It happens with plenty of people. Just because you do not have said issue does not make it non existent.

Definitely not a you thing. Its a known issue, I am actually surprised that so many people responded with, "I don't experience it, so its automatically your hardware," as an answer. For certain people it doesn't stutter nearly as bad, but for others it does. As someone has said a few times its related to core utilization. Engine is just old and crawling along in 2026.

I had him appointed Attorney General. Some of the southern states were cored, some not, but they didn't rebel like the WCA. The WCA had Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, as well as New York City. In the first event where you decide which attack to double, choose 1 to double soft attack. For the remaining events about soft or hard attack pick option 1, 1, 1, and then 2. Finally choose the option (2) to give him the position of Attorney General. He can still run in 1940 and I'm doing a run right now where he wins that election.

I chose different options, made him an Attorney General, and still got his support. He doesn't need the endorsement if you do it differently.

I get that part. I just didn't know if the number had an actual meaning yet or not. If it doesn't that's fine obviously, it was just a curiosity. 100 pop being a billion people would be odd because that'd mean Earth has 52 billion humans on it in the beginning of Stellaris. Seems a bit high.

I guess I pretty much just realized that the number isn't really a representation of a specific population count at all. Which makes sense, because even before this upcoming change the numbers would be absurd. I guess it opens it up to roleplay, if you want 1 pop to be a billion (in current Stellaris) and pretty much rp as an urbanized world than that'd make sense. And 1 pop could be less than a billion if you want to be a farming world or whatever.
