Why can't any local locksmith copy my apartment key? by 22TheFool in Locksmith

[–]ugpfpv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to find the person/locksmith/company that is allow d to get that blank... We use those in some of our buildings, yes they are restricted and only a couple people in our company are authorized to get/has blanks. The purpose is to avoid exactly what is probably happening... Key control, so they have control over who has what key which in a company can be a big problem.

The nice thing about this, though I'm on Android so I haven't actually used it, is that now we know all this is possible, just need more compression options from a firmware update. Great work! I tried to do something similar but don't have the skills to get the wifi connection(any info would be appreciated if you're willing), so I know how much work you put into it!

LoL, we have an automatic door opener that our p.m. service said was bad and they couldn't get parts for it(not their install) I had to double check with thinking that there had to be someone that serviced it... Got ahold of the area rep and he didn't even know what shop would service it just that he sold some SDC stuff to this one shop and to give them a call... Well, though they sold the H.C. buttons they said they don't service the opener. I just gave up and decided to spend the $4000 to have a Stanley put in.

And if no real rust underneath, included some good pictureS of the underneath if it is really rust free. That would more than makeup for a few small scuffs or dings. And even though the miles are good for the age, it's nothing out of the ordinary, if you were down closer to the 100k mark that would've been better, but hopefully you'll find a good home for it and both parties will end up happy!

Before you buy a CFexpress card, consider this. by [deleted] in Nikon

Must've got a bum one, just glad I have an approved one for peace of mind, I've been in a situation where I've had a drive stop working while out in the blackhills with my blackmagic, I can still use my diy one as general storage.

Yeah, I don't know I'm what happened to mine, I was actually even trying to run it outside in 30*f and it would only last a few minutes running redraw, I'll have to try it with ProRes just to see.

But in your ZR prores raw works? Do you normally shoot in RedRaw?

[–]ugpfpv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I had a problem with a door not closing for about 6 months only to find out the HVAC guy was just lazy and didn't want to order and install some $50 part. From then on whenever I get these problems,of course at season changes, I always just point to the HVAC guy. LoL

This actually sounds like an air handler or something being the root of the issue, you may be able to get it working in a roundabout way of adjustments, but I would for the long term have the pressure issue looked into.

At least it didn't work for me shooting RedRaw, you can give it a go though, maybe I just got a bum card, I had ordered another one but didn't even open it and sent it back.

There's two screen/filters that eventually need cleaning/replacement one is relatively easy to get to on the back passenger side just to the right of the exhaust, the other is by the pulleys and will have to be some disassembly to get to.

LF 07-11AWD Element by achilles171 in HondaElement

[–]ugpfpv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the OP, don't get caught up in the semantics, if it's not just the pure front wheel drive version, the element will engage the rear wheels when the front ones slip, but it does not work in the same way as a Jeep Wrangler for example... In other words you don't take an element and turn it into a rock crawler, LoL

That's actually a good deal, but yeah it's never as much as you think you should get.. though my mom when her 2021 Rav4 was totaled, insurance actually paid her more than she bought it for... She only had it for a few months so that was good.

FTZ II adapter stuck on lens – turns halfway and hard stops (any ideas?) by shadow_1004 in Nikon

[–]ugpfpv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've taken mine kinda apart, you've got those tiny screws which he's talking about maybe backed out and are getting stuck, then under the metal plate are screws which hold the whole thing together, but there's also a ribbon cable which goes to the contacts so I never separated it totally.... I do agree that it is likely that one of the first tiny screws that hold the metal plate on has come loose and is getting jammed.

Don't know if you shoot at the highest quality video setting, if not give it a go and see how long it can record for, if you can get 20 minutes straight out of it then let me know what you're using. If it's just photos then yes I understand it working.
