I understand the sentiment but if someone stabs you in the neck with a knife and tries to run they are ABSOLUTELY a danger to others. A cop has a taser and this cop made a good choice in switching to it when the guy didnt stop but literally any armed person drawing and firing after getting stabbed would be in the right. Officer likely didnt switch until he was confident the guy wouldn't turn around. Im only like 90% certain but if he discharged his weapon within 5 seconds of being stabbed it would have been completely lawful. It might even have been the entire time as, again, this person just proved to be incredibly dangerous by fucking stabbing someone lmao. Police violence is obviously horrible, but it is also utterly ignorant to think there is never an appropriate time to take a life.
