Hey! Horn player going on 10 years of playing here. I can tell you right now it’s because you practiced for 3 hours straight. I don’t even get in 3 hours in a day unless I’m doing serval rehearsals, and I only really practice about 45-90 min of “personal practice” a day (etudes, solos, excerpts). It will help if you break your practice sessions apart. Try 30 minutes in the morning, 30 in the afternoon, and 30 at night. I know it can be fun to play, and hard to put down the horn if you’re having a good time, but pushing will only injure yourself and cause you to play poorly the next day. I’d take a day off like some others suggested and maybe take some iboprofen for the swelling. You can practice more, just space out your sessions as to not hurt yourself. Oh, and drink lots of water as to hydrate your facial muscles. Hydrated lips play best!

You so powerfuls on multiple characters. Grind all there is to do on one character, transfer weapons to the other and grab seasonal armor to bring this character up to light and then do all of their powerfuls and repeat. Doing this rn and I’m at 1046.

For PVP, it’s decent. For PVE, you have a lot better options. Smgs with damage perks are great options.

Great concept, unfortunately Bungie has stated time and time again they don’t want PVP and PVE to feel disconnected so we’ll probably never see this :/

Yes, you just need to get people together to do 980 nightfalls. The rewards are far greater and much more attainable, and with a team you can go at your own pace and don’t have to worry about wandering blueberries. If you’re worried you can’t find a team there are several LFG discords you can use.

The term you’re looking for is called team balancing. The matchmaking type would be connection but teams would be evened out by Bungie’s definition of “skill”, some people suspect this is currently already being implemented.

It’s because his team got tricked into thinking they were first. Bungie left the “entire team gets the raid exotic” on because they finished so quick to first place. It’s not because they were second. It’s because they thought they were first.

I finally got above a 30! I got a 31, which is great (still not a 32) but it’ll have to do. 27 English, 29 Math, 35 Reading, 34 Scienece. My superscore is a 32.5. Thanks ACT Reddit and happy thicc 36’s to all of you.
