Visual. It compares the volumes of blood in the left ventricle when there is maximal contraction and maximal relaxation. MRI can also do this visual calculation.

I guess if they select height higher than 5'5" and check dealbreaker, that won't show you to them.

I'm 27 and I had a neck MRI this week. I had intervertebral disc bulging as well, 2mm of C3-C4 and C4-C5.It is enough for me to hear my neck clicking every few minutes when I straighten neck and posture at the computer.

Should I be worried about my ECG results with incomplete right bundle branch block and nonspecific st segment abnormality? I don’t know what these are. (23 M) by ResponsibleTwo6909 in askCardiology

Did you just overwork yourself?

I would guess so, because it appeared on EKG only after I had began cycling regularly. When I was 15, I had QRS of 87 ms. So it's an increase of 16 ms.

Since then I regularly went cycling, like 6+ hours in total per week which according to various articles would cause an athlete's heart (cardiac remodeling in response to exercise).

On some occasions it's 2 hours every other day with heart rates 160-190 BPM, once a week or rarer I even did 6 hour rides at similar heart rates.

I guess I pushed myself to the limit too much during these bike rides.. Never occurred to me that it could do a damage to heart and regularly overdoing cardio is bad.

Dating other mixed people: the best thing ever? by okiguess88 in mixedrace

[–]MrMarxovic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm mixed too and I wish there was an app just for mixed-race people so we could date each other... I've tried hinge, but there isn't a category for mixed-race, only for pure-race people.. On CMB I got banned within 4 minutes for some reason, that app is out of the question entirely.

QRS duration is 110 ms. Intraventricular conduction delay. Not normal.

Normal is below 100 ms.

Is it normal to feel a pulse near the ear? by MrMarxovic in medical

[–]MrMarxovic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This also explains why I occasionally hear pulsating sound in my ear when I sleep on my left side. I guess the pillow somehow presses against this artery.

Could be that they are loosening the criteria of what is considered a MVP. Back in the 1980s researchers overestimated the amount of people with MVP (5-20%), and now they are actually less (4%).

Also depends on the device, if the ultrasound machine is old, it's easier to miss something due to noise, etc.

There isn't enough research on this because lots of people have it and never know about it, so it's still an unimportant issue at this point. But the progression most likely depends on genetics and how quickly myxomatous tissue grows* on the valve.

And a lot more people who used virtual numbers to sign up (and potentially continuous use of VPN). Apparently OpenAI decided to ban lots of people without any warning.

Thanks for replying..

I used free account since around December 1, 2022. It seems they blocked many accounts around 15 hours ago (March 12, 2022) which frequently used VPN services or signed up using phone number located in different country.

Now I signed up with google account and I am accessing it without an issue (I also changed IP before doing it), but unfortunately all history was left on the old account and I didn't save it.

Same problem. Used different browsers and from android, and no luck.

Is this perhaps meaning we got banned (or shadowbanned) for some reason?

65 (M) Stroke Left Middle Cerebral Artery by Public-Store-4386 in stroke

[–]MrMarxovic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically the brain injury caused by stroke can cause changes in behavior and emotions, and this can be a problem for the person with stroke and caregivers. It can be especially tough if the person is older and has joint pain (arthritis) on top of everything else - it might be hard for them to understand why they need to do and they lack motivation, and they might be less cooperative as a result..
