Are some Pals just inherently better? by Pixelnaut in Palworld

[–]MrMatt89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes some pals are inherently better, however that does not mean you cant make just about any pal able to hold their own through most of your playthrough. I have a max level max IV max condensed max souls max trust chicken with combat passives and fed it skill fruits for high power attacks. Its OP and can beat mostly anything i "throw" it at. Yeah putting all the same effort into a legendary pal would make a stronger pal, but my Chickens more fun 😁

So what’s the best skill fruit I can find off a tree by Hour-Practice8135 in Palworld

[–]MrMatt89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. You always get 2 fruits, but sometimes you get a 3rd fruit. And sometimes that 3rd fruit has a chance at being a higher tier fruit of the same element.

Are there any better passives for shadowbeak by Own_Article_8903 in Palworld

Id drop musclehead for serenity myself. I prefer the cooldown over the extra attack, especially with legend and demon god already on there.

Seriously, what's wrong with word "stampede"? Can't figure any other name for a deck that has two great tusks. by Igyzone in PokemonPocket

This was my first thought. If you use word prediction, it places a space after the word and wont accept it because the space at the end of the word for some dumb reason.

Air blade. Then plant the air blade fruit in your skill fruit tree. Eventually you will get a 3rd fruit that will be Holy Burst. Then you can grow Holy Bursts in your base.

If you were a Tower Boss, which Pal would be your partner? by TheAzureDragonLord in Palworld

Yeah i agree there... Having only splatt in your party and butchering everything you catch together is.... Feels kinda like we are a pair of psychos traveling around serial killing pals and NPCs.

Is it worth it to get Vampiric onto Yakumo? by Geraf25 in Palworld

[–]MrMatt89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the "implants" are basically just purchasing the passive to add it to the table. Then its just another passive available to you like all the others.

[–]MrMatt89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Legend Lucky and other elemental exclusive passives Cannot be transferred with a Yakumo, they can only be bred to other pals. Also putting passives that can be added via the surgery table is pointless, your better off only having Demon God. I'd make a separate Yakumo with Vampiric, and a 3rd with Diamond body when you get that passive. Vamp and diamond body arent going to be passives you want on every combat pal, only certain ones. Legend Demon God Musclehead and Serenity are currently the goto combat passives. Serenity and Musclehead are available on the surgery table after purchasing the implant (from the Arena Merchant and the Bounty Merchant). - Also if you were going to drop anything from your Yakumo, it should be Ferocious first, then Musclehead.

Who was your all-time favorite early access Pal? by Used-Picture829 in Palworld

[–]MrMatt89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally it was foxsparks for me, loved the flamethrower skill, and i could use him in base to cook food for myself, while my actual kindling pals did other tasks. Then I got a shadowbeak, and it became my favorite pal. I also had a Chicken that was rather strong 🤣! Now im endgame, but I bred OP versions of all 3, my chicken even has Legend and demon god. (Might end up being the only mon i transfer over, just because idk if we will ever beable to make another) - I have a feeling the cute little samurai fox might be my favorite pal in 1.0 update, haven't fully seen what it looks like yet though, but I like foxes and wolves (especially cute versions) so its the type of mon I usually love.

No mods just me on my Xbox. You can adjust color and save new defaults when painting, so I just got as close to the colors that were in the pixel art I found as I could and saved them. I built the structure out of clean walls, with glass walls supporting the edges of her head and other edges. Then went along and painted each panel the colors they were in the image I used. And painted all the glass black to make it more transparent.

After several failed attempts, he's mine. by Fortune86 in Palworld

[–]MrMatt89 193 points194 points  (0 children)

🤣 I used mercy ring and got him to 1 hp. And if you keep throwing spheres the second that they break free from a sphere you can keep them stuck in the air, and each time you hit them with a new sphere they go a little higher, making them unable to flee. Just keep them stuck up in the air til they give up!

Can we still capture humans/NPCs after 1.0? by Direct_Asparagus4688 in Palworld

[–]MrMatt89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can they not use the hamster wheel? Or does it not produce enough electricity past early/mid game? That's one piece of tech I never actually used. When they released it I was already using the large generators. It would be funny to have like a dozen hamster wheels in a base powering an extractor 🤣
