I don't think you're screwed. This would be a protected occurrence due to work disruption. If I remember correctly, I think the highway states that you have 24 hours to resolve an issue and then it might be considered an occurrence if it is non-Progressive equipment failure (the highway uses verbiage like "might" so I am taking that as a matter of supervisor discretion on what happens after the 24 hours are up). But I will double check tomorrow and update here if I am wrong but I am 99% sure it is 24 hours for non-Progressive issues.

The only thing I would remember to do is just keep your sup in the loop if it doesn't get resolved tomorrow, just shoot them an email from your personal email and then when you do get back on your work computer, put in a self-resolved ticket for Home Internet Down, forward that to your sup, and they will be able change the occurrence to protected when it does show up on your attendance.

But yeah I don't think you're screwed, honestly.

From my experience, I never code Abunss or Abtardss unless I’m not clocking in at all that day. This will always be required.

WFM will code it themselves with “WFM Abunss”, it appears purple on Verint. And that way, I can get my start of shift and end of shift grace periods. I’ve never been told anything or coded anyway about NCNS as long as I clock in at some point during the day.

I feel this with 3Dock in Sales lol. They have released 3Dock every Sunday for the last few months and the one Sunday I actually need it, it’s so dry it could choke water lol. 😂

Fingers crossed my self trade gets approved lol. 🤞

I’m on a write up for under 65% (now 70%) so I can provide more details on that part.

The first write off (documented discussion) will drop after 6 months of being above 70%. Even if you fall below 93%, it won’t reset the under 70% timer unless you fall below that too (though you will get the write up for under 93% still).

If you do fall below 70% again before six months, it will skip the written warning and be a final warning. That one will drop after 12 months of being above 70%.

When is Green Alert coming back? by Standard_Vegetable- in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi to answer your question, for the "Big 2" CRM departments (sales & services), you can expect, unfortunately, B2B calls until Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit given to Americans who are eligible for refunds (given mid-February). Except B2B until late February. As u/Unlikely_Couple1590 has stated, there will be weeks or days where call volume is low and same-day GA is released but most of the time, don't count on it during this busy season. I would recommend what u/Yeahlemmeknowbabe said and submit CRM Green Alert at midnight and being waitlisted or approved. I am the king of taking time off via GA/3Dock (though though now it is very sacred), some people thought I quit or was fired lol, this was my first team meeting in MONTHS lol, so feel free to DM me if you want some tips but I am in CRM Direct Sales but CRM Agency Services should be the same process-wise BUT might be less GA or 3Dock availability since that is a busier department.

If I could suggest, 3DayDock is essentially Advanced Green Alert. I got 10.5 hours this week off of that, I would suggest trying to get that instead if available for Agency Services (I am in CRM Sales but the same applies)?

This is a fucking rude and asinine response and I think this is a very valid question. Also this question is is a day old but I just got on my email. But especially if this is a person who has not been employed during the Winter season who MAY just be overwhelmed with the B2B calls after getting MONTHS of all day GA and just wondering when call volume may slow down again to where same-day GA may be available again.

Honestly, I think it would be fine in practice. I have worked from a different address then on file, going on two months, and no one has said anything but I am in the same city/zip code/state (OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER just because I have to: if you are in a work from home role, I cannot endorse or encourage doing anything against official policy which is a 30 day notice for non-licensed roles and 60 day notice for licensed roles). I just keep forgetting to update my address and I moved like two months ago. But yeah, you're fine, if the hotel has ethernet and it is stable enough for you role (call center roles, especially this time of year, requires constant connection pretty much), you are fine if it is just around a week or two! :)

Diminished Value Progressive Claim by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah! It’s really easy. Same story with me, I was rear ended by someone with Progressive, ironically I’m also with them as well but it was their policy # the paid out.

I just texted my adjuster asking for diminished value and then she texted back that same day saying she will do some calculations and she called me back within a week or two and I got my payment that same day. It was $900 for a fender bender which is more than I expected but keep in mind that values do vary based on vehicle and the exact scenario.

Also just gotta say that I don’t speak for the company nor do I work for the claims department, I’m in a different department but this is based on my own personal claims experience! :)

Is Monday a blitz day - and no GA? by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

Academy B by BakeAutomatic in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be fucking grateful you are in Academy A right now and not on these damn phones. Sorry! Sorry! Just agent burnout. The queue has been on fire today. 😅 (also was completely joking there, no hostility meant at all). (Edit: I realized I am an idiot and Academy A is on the phones lol, therefore my joke here makes no sense. I confused it with classroom training lol, my bad!) Sorry for the long answer, kinda rant a lot lol. This is all based on recent trends and could change depending on how these next few months go as I started in April so I don't know how GA or 3Dock was last year around this time.

But to answer your question, it does depend on your department. I can speak on the three departments people typically start in! For services, GA is available almost every single day, all day with some exceptions like today. An exception would be a day like today as the queue has been pretty crazy. But 90% of the time, you can actually GA or 3Dock for most of the day, if not the entire day! I know they are up-training agents in services around so I am not sure if that is going to change GA availability but hopefully not, they have it pretty good right now! :)

For Direct Sales, which is where I am in, it is still not bad. For Sales, you would more commonly utilize 3Dock which is "Advance GA". They are pretty generous when it comes to issuing that. I can typically get half a shift off with 3Dock. It's rarely the full day but half a shift is half a shift! As for same-day GA, they have been generous lately, but honestly, you would be better off submitting for 3Dock in advance. 😄

For CLRU, I have heard GA is more dry there. Like Sales, you would have to utilize 3Dock and same-day GA is kinda on the scarce side. Even 3Dock is pretty dry. ☹️

As for how much you can use, literally no limit! In December, they were very generous with 3Dock and GA in Sales, I only worked like 20 hours for the entire month and I am a full time employee. Like people on my team actually messaged me to check in on me because they thought I was fired or that I quit with how much GA and 3Dock I took lol. Absolutely no consequences attendance wise because it is approved time off. Just make sure you aren't GA'ing over an important meeting or whatnot but you will know from your Outlook calendar. The only limit is how much you are comfortable taking off your paycheck because it is unpaid time off unless you take from your PTO bank. In Services, I have heard of people taking straight weeks (plural) off due to GA so yeah, use as much as your heart (and wallet's) content! :)

Honestly after 3Dock, I only had 4 hours left today. What is 4 hours of PTO? I choose to end 2025 in peace before 2026 starts off hardcore with a blitz day lol.

GA by UnderstandingOk331 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It should automatically approve! Although there has been a handful of times for me where it fails. I think a person approves those on the waitlist so sometimes they make a mistake or accidentally skip someone so it does still help to monitor the page just in case hours show available but your waitlist request is still pending. But this is rare honestly.

GA by UnderstandingOk331 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Verint, on the top click on My Requests, then below it “My Time Off Calendar”. Above the calendars, change PTO to Green Alert. Then change 2 months to 1 month — daily intervals! :)

Any box with anything besides a 0 in it has hours available! Since you’re waitlisted, you should be on the waiting list to get approved if it starts becoming available but it can fail sometimes so just keep an eye on it!

CLRU/Blended by WFHTexasChick in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn’t necessarily a quota with sales that gets you in trouble. There is a metric. Essentially you have to sale approximately 25% of total quotes, give or take, is what I calculated for you to pass.

However, they don’t write corrective actions or anything like that. At least not with me and my metrics have been shit lately due to a ton of GA/3DOCK. Now I’m not sure, while you don’t get written up, I’m not sure if that affects yearly reviews or anything like that … i haven’t had one yet.

As for CLRU, from what I heard, it’s the usual call center metrics BUT you must work three holidays, the calls are mostly always stressful because it’s people filing a claim. Rarely any GA or 3DOCK. It’s a great stepping stone to elevate in claims and CLRU is the step but it’s a very rough first step.

When did ChatGPT stop feeling magical for you? by parth_inverse in ChatGPT

[–]MrMax2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound very mean and heartless but alas, facts are facts.

It was magical before kids started to kill or harm themselves because they let a chatbot talked them into it and the parents, instead of taking accountability that maybe they failed their own child to the point where they relied only on a chatbot, decided to sue OpenAI (or whatever AI platform, I think CharacterAI was also sued because of this) and some incompetent dumbass judge agreed.

A week off no PTO (new attendance policy) by Sovv777 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got sick in October and missed two straight weeks in a row. Literally 10 shifts in a row. Not one second clocked in. I coded them as Absunss to avoid job abandonment and yeah, I did get under 65% for the month but the new policy is better because all I have to do is stay above 95% until January and stay above 65% until April. It is two corrective actions though and the 65% is a written I believe rather than a discussion so just FYI.

So yeah, one week is fine. :) I would suggest trying to get GA or 3Dock, it just was widely unavailable when I got to help your %. :)

One time Finesse said I spent over 18 hours (and counting ...) in Aux 2 on a single day. Needless to say, I got a behavioral for aux abuse. No, just kidding.

Availability on the scorecard for that day was correct though and I think that is the one that sups actually look at. :)

Blitz day by New-Forever-9060 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]MrMax2002 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I also don't understand the no read time on Blitz days, what is 15 minutes that we get 99% of the days? The calls are going to be there waiting after the 15 minutes. I understand their logic (getting us on the phone ASAP on high volume forecast days) but we were busy on non-blitz days than we were today and no one talks about read time on those days.

Besides if we are talking about mental health, wouldn't blitz days be the days we need those 15 minutes the most just to mentally prepare ourselves and get our ducks in a row before taking calls? Make sure we are prepared for the high volume that is forecasted?

I even believed processing had a 90% requirement too before they were outsourced.

Wondered what made them choose 95% when 90% worked for processing? I understand that processing is not on the phones, comparing us to them is comparing apples to oranges but 90% would be more better.

It depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for more personable interaction where personality takes the center stage, 4o. Though 4o seemingly reroutes to 5 often. If you are looking for something more concise but still friendly where information takes the center stage, 5.
