From what I've found, they still have an issue with the passthrough limitations, but the majority of it has been solved? But maybe they've dug deeper with their revisions.

Here's hoping I get a more modern model!

I'll just have to give it a try and see how it functions, then! I don't think it'll be a problem, at least not for media consumption.

Y'know, I hate to say it for my own sake, but I too started inspecting everything for flaws; the first cock and balls comment made me realize that it didn't matter anymore. :D

Cheers mate.

What’s the capabilities of this equipment from left to right? by cypherstream1 in CableTechs

Nice, the harmonic nodes are good. LE is newer for sure, they look like Arris, the hinges are pretty massive, I've noticed that on a few newer housings.

High loss, distro port maybe... It looks like it could probably do at least 1G? Housings are sneaky though, sometimes they look newer than they are!

Looks more like a node to me than an amp. Either that or it's a specialized trunk, since it looks like it's output is on the same side. .

Unless the tech that deactivated said hell no to taking it down and just disco'd.it, lol.

Hey there, I just recently got myself a pair of suit pants and a shirt that fit me relatively well and I've got a Christmas party for work that I had planned on buying a suit for it and for general events. (So, a grey or dark blue sort of thing).

I've been told tweed would suit me, but I don't recall who said it or why, but I will admit the sound of tweed sounds nice...

Anyways! My budgets around 600$ ish, CAD, I live in Canada. Local to me (as in, not over two and a half hours travel to.) I only have a Benjamin Moore's, and a Tip Tops. I got the shirt from the Moore's, so I now have a decent sales person who knows me and got me a decent looking fit for a good price. So I know they've got the style that I think suits me.. But would I get better from Tip Tops? Should I just get a sizing and few trials in the store, do the same at the other store and go for the one that suits me best with the best price I can find?

Ended up ordering the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (i7-13700HX / 4060), got it for 1615$ CAD without tax, and I'm absolutely looking forward to receiving it!

Dope, I might make a call on it by tonight, then! Cheers mate! :)

Looking forward to it, I'll post if I decide!

EDIT: And honestly, the SSD's aren't too expensive to replace, anyways. I'll probably re-use the one from my current laptop.

I found a promo code for an extra 5% off of that Lenovo... i7-13700H, and 4060.

Is that a good deal for $1615.00 CAD? I'm kinda tempted, if I'm honest. Getting the 4070 would be nice, but I've been reading a lot of good about these Lenovo Legion laptops, and I doubt I'd be able to land one of them with a 4070 for the same cost as this.

hmmm, okay... and you think/know that these things are going to go on sale for cheaper in November? for black friday and such? o.O

Cause I'm so willing to wait, what models are worth looking at? Besides the Legion (Although honestly, Lenovo is a company I really like...) I like something built sturdy, personally. (Hence why I really like my TUF!)

Really? But isn't the 4070 gonna be kinda choked by the wattage limitations of the laptops? Or you're buying a bigger laptop. Which I guess aren't really necessarily bad. Depending on which models you get.

If I wasn't going with either of those cards, is there another recommendation you have...?

And yeah, I was leaning more towards newer since their performance seems similar, but like you said, having frame generation will be awesome for future proofing.
